3 Wildlife Rehabilitation Permit Requirements and Conditions, Who May Have a Wildlife Rehabilitation Permit? Reside in Oregon 18 years old Submits a completed written application Oregon DVM or a letter from a Oregon DVM Passed rehabilitation examine with 80% Approved by the local Biologist Must have a approved rehabilitation facility

Inspection of subpermittee facilities Provide written information for care of wildlife If requested provide information to local Biologist Ultimately responsible for all activities of the subpermittee

Perform wildlife rehabilitation Must follow the written and approved information (protocol) Cannot accept any wildlife except from WRP Home care only for neonate birds or; Other species approved in writing by local Biologist

9 Wildlife Rehabilitation Permit Requirements and Conditions, cont. Does not exempt from other state, federal, county or city laws and regulation. Does not allow practice of veterinary medicine to domestic animals WRP must be carried or displayed when rehabbing.
