Color Aging eyes respond differently than younger eyes to color and pattern and finding the correct level of contrast in textiles for senior living environments is important. While contrasting colors can differentiate floors from walls, flooring styles with very strong contrast can read as a change in depth or appear to move, affecting step mobility for those with restricted vision.
