3 IMPORTANT PRODUCT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read carefully and follow all warnings and instructions in this document and those marked on the product before you operate your display. Failure to follow warnings can result in personal injury or damage to product. Keep this document in a convenient location for future reference. Proper Positioning of Display Always handle your LCD display with care. Avoid touching the LCD screen. Skin oils are difficult to remove. Always position your LCD display on a stable and level surface or mount it on a wall. Unstable surfaces can cause your LCD to topple and fall, resulting in possible damage or injury. Avoid exposing the LCD display to direct sunlight or high temperatures, which can damage or shorten its useful life. Do not place near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, or other appliances that generate heat. Avoid exposing the LCD display to rain, water, moisture or high humidity. Do not place your LCD near basins or sinks where it may come in contact with water. Orient your LCD display away from direct sunlight to reduce glare. Never place heavy or sharp objects on the LCD display, video cable, or power cord. Overloading Outlets Do not overload electrical power sources when installing the display. Overloading wall outlets, circuits, or extension cords can result in overheating, fire, or electric shock. Use only grounded or polarized outlets. Power Cord Protection Minimize wear on power supply cords. Power supply cords should be routed away from foot traffic and contact with other objects. Do not route power cord under rugs or carpeting. The cord should never be severely bent, pinched, or twisted. Periodically inspect power cords for wear or damage, particularly near plug and the point where it exits from the product. Unplug cord and discontinue use if damage is discovered. Ventilation Slots and openings on the cabinet are provided for ventilation purposes. To ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating, these openings must not be blocked or covered. Keep the LCD Display a minimum of 4 inches/10 cm away from any wall to assure sufficient airflow and

4 ventilation. Increased temperatures may cause fire or device failure. To assure proper ventilation, do not block the openings by placing the LCD Display on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surface. Do not place it in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or an enclosed rack, unless proper ventilation is provided. Other Notices and Precautions Caution: Never remove the rear cover. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Your LCD Display contains high-voltage parts. You may be seriously injured if you touch them. Do not attempt repairs yourself. Your warranty does not cover repairs or attempted repairs by anyone not authorized by LEADWELL Optical. Refer all servicing and repairs to qualified service personnel. If smoke, abnormal noise, or strange odor is present, immediately unplug the power cord. Contact a qualified service technician. If your LCD Display will not be used for extended periods of time, unplug the power cord and remove the batteries from the remote control. Cleaning the LCD Display MAKE SURE THE LCD Display IS TURNED OFF NEVER SPRAY OR POUR LIQUID DIRECTLY ONTO THE SCREEN OR CASE To clean the screen: 1. Wipe the screen with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth. This removes dust and other particles. 2. If it still is not clean, apply a small amount of non-ammonia, non-alcohol based glass cleaner onto a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, and wipe the screen.

5 To clean the case: 1. Use a soft, dry cloth. 2. If it still is not clean, apply a small amount of non-ammonia, non-alcohol based, mild non-abrasive detergent onto a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, then wipe the surface. Disclaimer LWO does not recommend the use of any ammonia or alcohol-based cleaners on the LCD Display screen or case. Some chemical cleaners have been reported to damage the screen and/or LCD display case. LWADWELL Optical will not be liable for damage resulting from use of any ammonia or alcohol-based cleaners. Safety Guidelines Warning: This device must be operated with the original power supply. CAUTION: The socket-outlet should be installed near the equipment and should be easily accessible. CAUTION: Use a power cable that is properly grounded. Always use the appropriate AC cord that is certified for the individual country. Some examples are listed below: USA... BASE/BS Japan...Electric Appliance Control Act IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING POWER CORD SELECTION The power cord set for this unit has been enclosed and has been selected according to the country of destination and must be used to prevent electric shock. Use the following guidelines if it is necessary to replace the original cord set, or if the cord set is not enclosed. The female receptacle of the cord set must meet IEC requirements and may look like this : Figure A1 Figure A2

6 Installation Accessories The accessories are IR Remote Controller Adapter Power Core VGA cable

7 Install Remote Controller Batteries Remove the battery support Insert a battery on it. Re-attach the battery support. CAUTION * Dispose of the battery in accordance with local laws and regulations. * Keep the battery away from children and pets. * When the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries.

8 Connections Insert USB Stick You can select a USB stick and let the demo box display the media files in the USB stick. Connect Signal Cables There are two signal input ports : The connection between signal source and display are : Signal Source Signal Port on Monitor Connection Cable PC/Media Player D-Sub PC/Media Player HDMI on signal source device After you turn on the connected computer or the media player, it would be better to set it output resolution as 1920 x 60Hz.

9 Connect Power Cable Connect the power cord to the back of the LCD Display and then into a properly grounded AC outlet. Turn Power On Press the power button on the right side of the LCD Display or on the remote control to turn on the Display.

12 OSD Functions PREFERENCE Item Selection Description OSD Language Repeat Mode 中 文 English Repeat All Repeat None Repeat One To select the font language on the OSD, there are Simple Chinese, English, items to select. To select the repeat mode of playing media files. The selection items are: Repeat All : To repeat all the media files. Repeat None: To play all the media files once. Repeat One: To repeat single file. Play Log On/Off When turning on, the system will record the playing file, start up time, turn off time. Note: It will not support to record the Chinese file name. Power Resume On/Off When turning on, the system will continuously play the file which was terminated due to power off. Photo Slide mode Normal etc. To set transmit effect when playing the slideshow. Photo Slide time 5,7,10,15,30,6 0,90,120,150 To set the timing when playing the slideshow.

13 Marquee On/Off To turn on the scrolling message. Marquee Color Marquee Back Color Play Type While Red Green Blue Purple Yellow All Photo Music Photo+MP3 Movie Playlist To select the font color of the scrolling message. To select the background color of the scrolling message. To select the desired file want to play. No Device Off On/Off When turning on, the system will turn off automatically when Change password ****** there are no memory devices. Input Source VGA HDMI USB AV To select the input signal source. Note: If we want to play the content in the memory card, please select USB. AV item is useless. USB Copy Start To copy the files in the USB stick to the other device.

Picture Rotate To rotate the picture. Show Taibiao On/Off To display the serial number of the system. Marquee Speed VGA Auto Adjust Fast Middle Slow To scrolling message speed. Adjust automatically the picture and synch the LCD Display.

17 SCREEN SET Item Selection Description Brightness Brightness adjustment, you can select the value from 0~100. Contrast Contrast adjustment, you can select the value from 0~100. Color Saturation adjustment, you can select the value from 0~100. Sharpness Noise Reduction Video Mode Color Temperature Off Low Middle High Default Original size Scaling Up Full Screen Video Sharpness adjustment,you can select the value from 0~100. To reduce the noise when playing video. To select the aspect ratio of the video display. Color temperature adjustment, you can select cool mode/medium mode/warm mode. Meanwhile, you can select the R/G/B gain value individually.

18 How to build Marquee To create a SCROLL.TXT file,and key in the message into the file. Note: Please select Unicode coding. Insert Adv When playing video in the root dictionary, the advertisement, located in the folder \advertising, could be inserted routinely. Note: Please do not copy music files to \advertising.
