2 Welcome to CA Institute of Languages! Ever since CA Institute was established in 1997, our mission to offer a personalized language education in an intercultural and modern setting has always remained the same. Our goal is to further develop individuals abilities to communicate effectively and to provide above standard, high quality services in a welcoming and friendly environment. High quality to us means individual care for every student or client that walks in through our doors. Our main offices, parking and accommodation are situated on Údolní 8, an upscale street in downtown Brno, and our reception, offices, and classrooms are at our second location on Marešova 12, which is just a few buildings down. CA Institute of Languages prides itself with a modern campus with up to date technology in all of our classrooms. The facilities include a number of classrooms and lecture halls. All of our classrooms are fully equipped with computers and Wi-Fi access, full HD projectors, Blu-ray players, speakers, surround sound, amplifiers and more. We also have an extensive traditional and digital library with full access available for all students. Students are also welcome to use the student lounge, copy machines and printers, student café and bookstore. Student pubs, cafes and restaurants surround our campus. CA Institute of Languages is accredited by AJŠA (Association of Language Schools and Agencies in the Czech Republic) and certified by the Bureau Veritas. CA Institute of Languages is also a leading TEFL certification provider in the Czech Republic and as such our teaching methodologies are a model that other schools follow. We are partnered with the British Council and we have a 100% success record in assisting students with passing all of the Cambridge exams for English. CA Institute of Languages reputation of excellence has allowed us to become affiliated with some of the largest public and private English language educational programs in the world. Our relationships extend to such noted local institutions like Masaryk University and because of our close partnership; we often use the Faculty of Social Sciences, situated right across the street, as a second location for many of our lectures and seminars. Additionally, CA Institute of Languages relationships with various private language schools and educational institutions around the globe often elevate our students to the top of hiring pools.

3 Our institution provides language courses and services in a multitude of languages such as English, Czech, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian and Chinese. Other languages are also available upon request. Our main focus is, of course, English. We have special courses designed for all levels and ages, from infant to adult. CA Institute of Languages has a closely-knit team who have been working together for over 15 years. Our lecturers and professors all have at least a master s degree or higher in their fields together with 10 years experience. Many of us have published leading articles and books related to teaching methodology and EFL. All other members of our staff have at least a university education and experience working in the field of education. We also have an enthusiastic team of interns who are not only students at our institution but also at Masaryk University. Our school offers an excellent teacher to client ratio. We limit class sizes to six students, which means students have the opportunity to share their opinions and listen to those of others. Our students receive a personalized, quality education that makes learning easier and more stimulating. 8 8 F O R K I D S Welcome to CA KiDS, a branch of CA Institute which is solely dedicated to kids. CA KiDS is a private English school for children located right under Špilberk Castle in the center of Brno. The school is designed for children ages three and up and has a multicultural environment. Our certified teachers, who have special focus in early childhood education and first aid certificates, engage the children in a fun and exciting manner so that the children pick up the language in a natural way. Price 190 Czech Crowns / 60 minutes (min. 4 students)* * discounts available Camps The English camp is for children aged 3 and up. It runs from 8:30am 12:30pm with an option to stay the full day. This year s theme is to produce a Hollywood film. The kids work on a script, act it out on film in locations around Brno and show it to their parents and adults on Friday in the movie theater at our school! The kids receive a DVD of their film and a certificate of completion of the camp! Our team of teachers are all certified and there is one native and one non-native speaking teacher for each group. PRICE: 1,980 CZK for half-day program (5 Days) 3,480 CZK for full day program (5 Days) The price includes drinks,snacks and learning materials. The price excludes lunch. Maximum group size of 10. CA KiDS are divided into three groups. The first group, aged 3-6, is called, FRESHMEN. The second group, aged 7-9, is called JUNIORS and the third group aged is called SENIORS. The fourth group stands alone as TEENS. CA Kids Methodology Children are amazing language learners and the younger they begin learning a second, or even a third language, the easier it is for them to absorb and use that language. The teaching methodology for children is greatly varied and CA Institute of Languages uses a combination of several methods to achieve the best results. Children at varying ages and developmental levels have different language learning needs and require a slightly altered approach, but CA Institute of Languages and its teachers are committed to making our lessons FUN as well as instructive.

Accomodation CA Institute Apartments: We have housing for students in the same building where the school is located. There are both single and double rooms, two shared bathrooms, a washing machine, dishes, a refrigerator, a microwave, a stove, an oven, internet, and a view of the castle. The place is fully furnished and a cleaning lady comes once a week. Starting at 8,000 CZK per month. Dormitories: Starting at 6000 CZK for a private room includes internet and communal bathroom and kitchen. Ten minutes by tram to the school. Sublets: Studios/single, double and triple room apartments are available for short term contracts. Five minute walk to the school.
