1 YANNICK GLADY, PhD tel: +33 (0) Curriculum Vitae Current Employment: Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Psychology, School of Natural Sciences, University of Stirling, January to December 2014: Postdoctoral researcher on the comparison of factors affecting analogical reasoning in capuchin monkeys, chimpanzees and humans, supervised by Dr Christine Caldwell. Responsibility for the design of all experiments, liaison with the ethical board of University of Stirling and Edinburgh Zoo, reports to the funding organization (Fyssen Foundation; scientific board: J. Call, P. D'Ettorre) and publications. Conduction of data collection at Living Links and Budongo Trail in Edinburgh Zoo (capuchin monkeys and chimpanzees), and at the playgroup of the University of Stirling (children). Research Interests: Development and evolution of reasoning and executive functions in primates Influence of reasoning biases on cultural evolution Education: PhD in Developmental Psychology, University of Burgundy, France Thesis: Analogical reasoning and its development: Role of executive functions and of the goal of the task. Supervisors: Jean-Pierre Thibaut & Robert M. French Content: Using eye-tracking technology, we showed that children's visual strategy differed significantly from adults when solving analogical problems. We linked these differences to executive function development and the misrepresentation of the goal structure of the task by children.
