We worked with them to develop and create a unique mapping experience that would allow users to explore the Houston Bayous and all their activities and amenities. With custom tools we developed utilizing the Kalibrate framework, they are able to import points/polylines using KML files that pinpoint the path of each bayou where they can easily add in points, using x-y coordinates, for amenities such as paddling, restrooms, art installations, points to highlight plans for future projects, show paths of existing trails, and bike trails. This experience allows users to quickly locate activities of interest along the bayous and provides these locations on the map using the Google Maps API.
