With this roadmap, you will find everything you need to point your customers in the right direction to make the switch or sign up for insurance from FNB. FNB Insurance Direct gives FNB customers an affordable, reliable insurance policy for their car, home and personal goods and they may earn up to 15% of their annual risk premium back in ebucks. With FNB Insurance your customers get low premiums, fabulous service and ebucks with FNB Insurance Rewards. From 1 May 2013, qualifying FNB Customers will earn rewards for qualifying behaviour on their FNB Insurance Direct Policy. NB: Wealth clients may continue to liase with their broker if they wish. The departure point FNB Insurance Direct requires that customers have: An FNB Cheque Account, or An FNB Credit Card, or An FNB Vehicle Finance Loan, or An FNB Homeloan Once they have one or more of these products, they too can enjoy the benefits of Insurance through FNB. The destination Value for money, hassle free insurance that gives the customer Benefits and Rewards they can t get anywhere else. If you guide them well through the process, they will have access to the full range of insurance products from FNB.
3 Product Cover Product Cover Car Insurance Will cover your car, bakkie or 4X4 against accidents, fire and theft and third party claims. Choose Comprehensive, Third Party, Fire and Theft or Third Party only cover options. Homeowners Insurance Homeowners Insurance (buildings insurance) covers you against accidental loss or damage to the physical structure of your property caused by fire, theft, natural disasters and more. Home Contents Insurance Household Contents Insurance covers your household goods against loss or damage caused by accidents, fire and theft. Personal Goods Insurance General or Specified Valuables Cover to insure important personal items like your briefcase or handbag contents, laptop and jewellery against loss or damage from accidents, fire and theft.

An affordable premium Their premium is based on their individual risk profile so the lower their risk, the lower their premiums will be. A fixed excess Choose a fixed excess amount from our range of options. This way, you know exactly how much you will have to pay regardless of the value of the claim. Choose a lower fixed excess with a higher premium... or a higher excess with a lower premium. An excess waiver We will waive the excess on the first claim made after 3 claim-free years (available to clients who choose the lowest excess option). Retrenchment premium waiver We will pay their insurance premiums for up to 6 months if they are retrenched. Free International SOS cover isos Road and Home Emergency Services cover them 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

7 ebucks SA s leading multi-partner rewards Programme gives customers rewards, simply by banking with FNB and shopping at ebucks card partners. Simply link a qualifying FNB account and the rewards begin. ebucks They can earn up to 2.5% back on purchases, depending on banking behaviour. If they swipe their ebucks card at card partners, they also earn ebucks from the partner. ebucks members can get up to 40% off across a great selection of flights, gadgets, shopping vouchers, movies and more, when bought online with thier ebucks from the ebucks shop. eb10 (ten ebucks) is worth R1 and unlike other reward Programmes, ebucks never expire and can be saved up. ebucks can be used to pay for fuel at Engen. 9 Insurance Rewards Direct your clients towards the most rewarding insurance. Always remind your customers that Insurance from FNB rewards them just for doing what they would be doing anyway paying their insurance premiums. Point out these advantages to them. FNB Insurance Rewards Insure with FNB and get up to 15% back in ebucks. Insurance Rewards Get 5% back monthly if you don t claim. Get an additional 5% back annually when you don t claim and have no late payments. Get an additional 5% back annually if you earn fuel or airtime rewards.

11 ebucks FNB Insurance Rewards FNB Insurance Rewards Q&A From 1 May 2013, qualifying FNB Customers will earn rewards for qualifying behaviour on their FNB Insurance Direct Policy. They are responsible for any tax implications on any benefit or ebucks received from the Insurance Rewards Programme. We recommend that they obtain independent professional advice regarding the tax consequences on any benefit or ebucks received from this Rewards Programme. These rules apply to the FNB Insurance Rewards Programme. How does the insurance reward structure work? Their reward level will be calculated based on certain citeria and is divided into one of the following three tiers: 5% reward (every month) 10% reward 15% reward Pay your premium diligently for 12 months Already earn fuel or airtime rewards on your Cheque Account or Credit Card Pay your premium diligently for 12 months No claim No claim for 12 months No claim for 12 months ebucks - FNB Insurance Rewards
12 1. What are FNB Insurance Rewards? FNB Insurance Rewards is a rewards Programme that allows you to get up to 15% back on annual Insurance Direct Risk Premium if you qualify to take part in this Programme. Depending on your claim, risk and banking behaviour over a 12 month rolling period you will be assigned a reward rate. This reward rate determines what percentage of your paid risk premium you will earn back in ebucks. The higher your earn level, the higher your reward rate. A 12 month rolling period means, for example, we will renew your reward term once a claim has been registered or late payment has been received, hence a new reward term of 12 months will begin. 2. What are the eligibility rules? Your insurance premium is being debited from a FNB/RMB bank account. Your FNB/RMB banking and credit accounts are in good standing, in other words your minimum payment requirements on your accounts must be up to date and you can not be over your limit. You must have an open ebucks account.
13 3. What is earn level 1? Customers who qualify to earn on level 1 will receive a 5% no claim reward back in ebucks every month calculated from their FNB Insurance Direct Risk Premium only. Rules in order to qualify for earn level 1: Qualify to earn FNB Insurance Rewards according to eligibility rules. Your full monthly premium has been paid for that month for which ebucks are being calculated. There is no claim registered within the month from which ebucks will be calculated. If a claim is cancelled, not taken up or it is repudiated it is still considered a claim and will cancel out earn level What is earn level 2? Customers who qualify to earn on level 1 and in addition have also not had any late payments in a 12 month rolling period will earn additional 5% payment reward back in ebucks on a rolling 12 month basis. Rules in order to qualify for earn level 2: Conditional that the rules of earn level 1 have been met. There have been no late payments of the insurance premium. 5. What is earn level 3? Customers who qualify to earn on level 1 and 2 and in addition have achieved certain FNB/RMB banking behavior requirements as set out below will earn an additional 5% reward back in rolling 12 month basis. Rules in order to qualify for earn level 3: Conditional that the rules of earn level 1 and 2 have been met. Customer qualifies to earn rewards on his FNB/RMB Cheque Account or FNB/RMB Credit Card OR Customer has an existing vehicle financed through FNB Vehicle Finance.
14 6. How are rewards calculated? Insurance Rewards are calculated on a percentage basis of your Risk Premium only which is calculated as follows: NO LIMITS Gross FNB Insurance Direct premium (what is deducted from your bank account) Less Sasria including VAT Less fees Including commission 7. Is there a limit on the rewards I can earn? Customers can only earn Insurance rewards if they hold an active FNB Insurance Direct Policy and there is no maximum earn reward limit as this is dependent on your earn levels and risk premium. 8. How and when are rewards paid? Your ebucks account will be credited with the ebucks equivalent of your rewards by approximately the 8 th of the month. Note: ebucks Terms and Conditions apply. The rewards to be credited will be delayed by 30 days from date of premium received. 9. How do I know what rewards I have earned? You will receive a monthly SMS informing you on the rewards you have earned for the month, in addition this will be shown on your ebucks statement as well. You can also check what rewards you have earned using the following FNB service channels: Online Banking Cellphone Banking Any FNB Branch Our Call Centre
15 10. Other rules The reward is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or converted to cash. If you have a dispute about your rewards as shown on your monthly statement, you must contact us on within 30 days. We can amend these rules and the FNB Insurance Rewards Programme at any time. We will notify you of any changes. These rules must be read together with the information on or fnb.mobi and your account and card terms and conditions. We may end your participation in the FNB Insurance Rewards Programme at any time and for any reason, on notice to you on the following reasons: We believe your behaviour was inappropriate, constituted misconduct, fraud, and/or is an abuse of FNB Insurance Rewards Programme. You breached these, or any other Terms and Conditions relevant to the FNB Insurance Rewards Programme. We can end FNB Insurance Rewards immediately, if required because of changes in legislation or if we believe it is necessary for any other reason. We will notify you if we end this FNB Insurance Rewards Programme.
