2 THE MORROW-STEVENS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM The Morrow-Stevens Foundation is a private, non-profit organization that offers scholarships to Virginia high-school students in designated Virginia School Division Regions. The scholarship applies to any Virginia public four-year college or university that is accredited in the Commonwealth. The scholarship is up to four years, and includes up to full tuition, room and board at a campus residence (unless off campus housing is approved by the Foundation board ), and a book stipend. The application should be completed in full and returned to The Morrow-Stevens Foundation, P.O. Box 3026, Oakton, VA ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN March 15 th to be considered for an award. The criteria for selection under this program include financial need, Virginia residency in Virginia School Division Regions 6, 7, or 8, and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Your application must include: 1. General Application form 2. Most recent High School transcript (certified cumulative GPA) 3. Copy of SAT/ACT scores 4. Copy of FAFSA report 5. One page student essay 6. One teacher recommendation The Foundation committee will select the recipient and send notification, to that person only, by April 25 th. It is understood that you may not have received a college acceptance by the application deadline. However, you must notify the Foundation immediately upon your acceptance by sending a copy of your college acceptance. (Photocopy is acceptable) All funds will be paid directly to the college/university. The recipient of the scholarship must remain a full time student in good standing and agree to have the Foundation receive regular reports to that effect.
