5 GSR Strategy To undertake exploration for regional structures beneath the transported cover where potential diamondiferous kimberlites could be located; To undertake exploration for hard rock gold deposits potentially associated with shear structures within the greenstone belt or at the granite/greenstone boundaries; and To target areas where artisanal workings are evident with a view to identifying economic alluvial deposits that could be worked in the near term to generate cash flow to support longer term exploration for hard rock gold and diamond deposits. To achieve the above, the work plan was organised to include: - geological mapping; - airborne magnetic survey; - stream sediment sampling; - trenching; and - pitting 4

7 Our Target Sites Baja The Baja exploration licence is considered prospective for both gold and diamonds with some artisanal gold workings have been reported by GSR Africa to have been observed within the licence area and the Sewa River is currently worked for diamonds elsewhere. The exploration licence covers a large area (240.11km 2 ) and the initial focus should be on identifying the most prospective proportion in order that the less prospective area can be relinquished. Tongo The Tongo exploration licence is prospective for diamonds; locked in a region of closely related known occurrences of kimberlite dykes and pipes, some of which are reportedly visible at surface. The topography is characterised by flats and terraces that are reported to carry diamonds and the area is crossed by both regularly flowing rivers and seasonal streams, which not only assists with the exploration process but provide potential for near term alluvial deposits that, once proved up, have the potential to generate cash to find long term hard rock deposits. The Tongo exploration licence has the greatest near term potential to identify economic diamond deposits. Moa The Moa exploration licence is considered highly prospective for both gold and diamonds. Field observations noted active alluvial mining with the gold not having been transported far from the source area due to poor drainage areas across the strike of the recorded mineralised areas. Gold exploration is the major focus at Moa. 6

9 Diamond Exploration Recoveries Ongoing bulk sampling exercise in Tongo has produced a diamond of 9.65 carats (in addition to the clear white diamond of carats) and also a carat stone that is very clear. Another 135 carats of smaller stones have also been recovered in Tongo since the start of May Gravel extraction in the next phase will go to a deeper level. Due to the commencement of the rainy season, which will last for several months and which causes the rivers to rise, the Explorer One has been moved to higher ground at the Tongo site, so that it can continue to wash during the rainy season. The relocation of the Explorer One means the Company will still be able to continue operations on the ground during what is traditionally a quieter period. The Explorer One is easy to operate and has security devices to prevent theft of the production. Recoveries of a total of 233 carats of diamonds during the first stage of the Company s bulk sampling program in Baja have also been announced. The diamonds are mainly white with a mixture of sizes up to two carat pieces. 8

13 Technical and Exploration Consultants Pierre Fourie Project Leader and Senior Mining Engineer Pierre Fourie is currently CEO of Rock Forage Mining Ltd and is a Mining Engineer with over 20 years experience in the field of Resource/Reserve Estimation, Mineral Economics, Mine Construction and Operations. Pierre qualifies as a competent person for various commodities including gold and diamonds. With a BCom degree complimenting his BEng Mining degree, his practical mining experience in both underground and open pit mining serves him well during the optimization and operational management of complex mining systems. Pierre has extensive experience in mining in Africa and projects that he s worked on include the Kolwezi Tailings Project in the DRC, Anglo Platinum s PPRUST open pit operations in South Africa, Anglo Gold Ashanti s gold operations in Mali and Namakwa Diamonds mines in Lesotho and South Africa. Dr John Ward FGGSA; Pr. Sci. Nat; PhD Senior Consulting Geologist Dr John Ward is based in South Africa and is an experienced, strongly field-oriented geologist with a proven ability to work in difficult terrains from desert to equatorial settings in Africa, viz. South America, Namibia, Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Angola, Tanzania, DRC, CAR, Cameroon, Gabon, Guinea (Conakry), Mali, Mauritania and Algeria with more limited exposure to Indonesia (Kalimantan), India, Australia, Afghanistan, Canada and Israel. Together with this experience, a long-acquired knowledge of the post-gondwana and Karoo geology is used to search for economic alluvial diamond deposits and primary (mostly kimberlite) sources in Africa.
