Emphasis will be placed on the practical applications of microdosimetry in the determination of absorbed dose distributions within tissue, the statistical fluctuations of absorbed dose at the cellular and subcellular level, and the future impact of microdosimetry to radiation protection guidelines. The course would be of interest to those students studying health physics, radiological health engineering, medical physics, and radiation biolory.
