3 ABOUT US C rown Textile is the largest Manufacturer and Exporter of Men's, Ladies and Children's knitted garments. We started exports in 2000 and since then, have expanded our business to various countries in USA & Europe, these being our major markets. By producing high quality products, making timely shipments and delivering efficient services, we have established a reputation of being committed to customer s satisfaction. Although our presence is global, our emphasis is on giving special attention to each client taking care to accurately determine individual requirements. Our products and services are customized to meet the needs of each client. 4 OUR TEAM W e know that our management is held together due to its strong roots, which we believe to be our employees. Their intermingling has nourished Crown Textile to build up as a strong enterprise because we treat each of our employees as a business partner. In return we receive unequivocal and loyal support that allows us to serve our Customers more effectively and with the greater inspiration. In order to serve the customer right, we have a detailed system that starts from the customers order and ends at getting the goods timely shipped to the customers. Different departments in the factory interact and coordinate with each other to accomplish this goal. 02

5 BUSINESS CODE OF CONDUCT Child Labour: We do not employ any person under the age of 18. Forced Labour: We do not make use of forced labour, whether in the form of prison labour, indentured labour, bonded labour or otherwise. Compensation: We pay the legal minimum wage or the prevailing industry wage, whichever is higher. We compensate all overtime hours worked with the legally mandated overtime hour premiums. Benefits: We comply with all provisions for legally mandated benefits. Hours of Work/Overtime: We comply with legally mandated regular and overtime work hour limitations. Work hours do not exceed 60 hours per week, including regular and overtime hours, or comply with legal limits if they are lower. We provide all employees with a minimum of one day off in seven. We inform employees in writing at the time of hiring if mandatory overtime is a condition of employment. Health and Safety: We take all necessary measures in order to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and to prevent accidents or injuries arising out of or occurring in the course of work. We also take all necessary measures to ensure healthy and safe conditions in employee residential facilities, where applicable. Environment: We comply with applicable country environmental regulations and laws. Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining: We recognize and respect the right of employees to Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining. Discipline and Termination: Discipline and Termination procedures are standardized and include a series of warnings prior to suspension or dismissal. Disciplinary procedures do not include the use of punitive deductions or forced resignations. Freedom of Movement: When authorized, and under special circumstances (in an emergency or in a matter of personal urgency, death or illness of a family member), employees can leave the facility and are not penalized. Employees have free and reasonable access to drinking water and toilet facilities. Grievance Procedures: Employees are permitted to lodge grievances that are addressed in a systematic manner so as to protect employees privacy and protect them from reprisals. Discrimination: We do not discriminate in hiring, wages, benefits, advancement, discipline or termination on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability, physical appearance, pregnancy, sexual orientation, nationality, union affiliation, political opinion or social or ethnic origin. Documentation and Inspection: We maintain on file such documentation as may be needed to demonstrate compliance with this CODE of CONDUCT, and shall make these documents available for customers designated auditor(s) for verification during inspection. Security: Crown Textile is committed to ensure the security at each level. There is no compromise on security. 7 W e believe that our success in developing our vertically-integrated manufacturing hubs has allowed us to provide our customers with low prices, consistent product quality and a reliable supply chain, and has been the main reason that we have been able to continue to increase our market presence and establish our market leadership. These are the same factors that management believes will support Crown s strategy to expand its presence in international markets and further penetrate the retail channel. We are able to price our products competitively because of our success in reducing operating costs, as a result of our investments in new strategically located, large-scale, capital-intensive manufacturing facilities with modern equipments. 05

9 QUALITY ATTITUDE T o assure strict adherence to the quality standards, we have set some business policies, which conform to national and international norms. Stringent quality tests are conducted at various level of production, starting from procurement of raw materials till the delivery of the finished product. Quality of the products is further tested by International labs such as Bureau Veritas, SGS and Intertek Testing Services etc. C rown Textile is proud to have successfully supplied to leading brands amongst many others and have maintained excellent quality standards throughout. Our quality control systems have also contributed towards improving the efficiency of our production lines. Thus, we have been able to supply the quality merchandise at competitive prices in the international market. The Quality Control department has high priority and infiltrates all sections and all production units at all stages of the process collaborate with it. There are quality checks at every stage of manufacturing, starting from Yarn selection, Knitting, Processing, Cutting, Stitching and Packing. Before the fabric is cut, it is checked thoroughly to confirm that it meets the standards of shrinkage, color fastness, finished GSM etc. After cutting, all cut panels are inspected to ensure that only the good quality pieces move to the stitching units. During the process of sewing, each and every process is inspected by inline inspectors. The inspectors make sure that only good parts move to the next stage. An individual tracking number is affixed inside all parts of the garment to control the size and shade. After trimming and pressing, highly experienced final inspectors inspect each garment. The Quality Control team monitors the performance of every individual inspector by picking up the inspected garments and checking the quality of these garments. To ensure that the garments are packed as per the requirements a separate quality inspection team checks and verifies the final packages before shipment. 07

10 CAPACITY O ur production facilities are equipped with the latest textile technology. We have a capacity of 1,000,000 pieces apparel per month in basic item and 600,000 pieces apparel per month in fancy item. Our primary geographical distribution is The United States of America with similar proportions to Europe. We are committed to quality and efficiency. Our 2000 employees work towards complete customer satisfaction. We have excellent textile technicians and management personnel. We can offer fast turn around the products. We have stepped up appropriately and aggressively to fulfill the value added garment requirements of its international buyers. Our embroidery department has recently been set up by making substantial investment to acquire fully computerized, high-speed Tajima embroidery machines known for efficiency and quality. Each machine has 20 heads and can embroider in 9 multiple colors. The latest knitting machines from PaiLung and Dragon are installed in this state of the art facility. These machines are equipped to produce Jersey, Pique, Fleece, Interlock, Popcorn, Herringbone, all 4 cam structured fabrics and Rib in addition to mini Jacquard designs in Single Knit Jersey. The knitted fabrics are thoroughly checked to ensure that only A grade fabric is transferred to the subsequent operations. Machines detail as following. 11 The Cutting Areas of about (30,000 Sq. Feets) are capable of handling tubular and open-end fabrics. Professional Cutting team implements markers to the specification and tolerance to obtain optimal yields. The Garments manufacturing areas of about (50,000 Sq.feets) are organized into production cells with Dedicated Electrical & Non-Electrical Equipment for each product and Specialized personnel for each and every program. Operators are very well trained to meet the most difficult & sensitive cut and sew operations. Including performing the inline garments checking through electronically operated conveyor broken needle detecting devices to 100% assure and produce the disinfected garments for customers. The Finishing and Checking areas are distinctly separate from all garment production and are strictly monitored for quality assurance criteria. The Packing area is fully equipped for meeting every product s unique labeling and tagging requirements. Strict controls throughout the process assure the systematic on time delivery of high quality products. 09

12 OUR PRODUCTS W e manufacture knitted readymade garments for Men, Women and Children in solids, prints and yarn dyes like Polo, Henley shirts,, Rugby s, T-shirts, Mock Neck shirts, Shorts, Capri pant, sweat shirts Hooded jackets etc. Garments are made in 100% cotton, blended fabrics, poly cotton of different blends and rayon in different qualities. Some special fabrics, like polar fleece, micro polar fleece and velour can also be imported according to customer's specifications. We manufacture standard styles, fashionable styles and value added styles according to need of our customers. We can produce any style, with any color way and finish to on Crown. The fabrics we normally work with are Jerseys, Piques, Ribs, Interlock Jacquards (full & mini), Pointless, Engineering Stripes, French terry, Flat Back Ribs, Herringbone, Velour, Loop Terry, Fleece, Sherpa with finishes like brushing, peaching, enzyme/silicon wash, etc. Most of these fabrics are also produced with Spandex additions. Major share of our exports are in men's tops, women's and children's wear. 10
