This notice provides information pertaining to program changes that will be implemented by Time Warner Cable. Subscribers affected reside in Council District 1 (Reyes); Council District 2 (Greuel); Council District 3 (Zine); Council District 4 (LaBonge); Council District 5 (Weiss); Council District 6 (Cardenas); Council District 7 (vacant); Council District 8 (Parks); Council District 9 (Perry); Council District 10 (Wesson); Council District 11 (Rosendahl); Council District 12 (Smith); Council District 13 (Garcetti); Council District 14 (Huizar) and Council District 15 (Hahn). Effective Tuesday, April 17, 2007 MTV Tr3s (formerly "MTV en Español"), digital channel 322 in all franchise areas, will be discontinued from City of Los Angeles' channel lineups for Areas A,B,C,D,F,G,H,I,J,K,L and M. (See attachment A.) However, MTV Tr3s programming will continue to be available via KBEH, currently carried by Time Warner Cable in the Los Angeles franchise areas on various designated channels. Please find below the newly designated channel positions for KBEH in the franchise areas operated by Time Warner:. The map is also available on the City's web site at: org/ita/cablemap. pdf Background In response to the financial difficulties experienced by Adelphia and other documented improprieties of its founders, the Los Angeles City Council directed ITA to notify all City Council members, the Mayor, the City Controller, and the City Attorney of any proposed cable television service and/or rate changes to be implemented by the City's cable television operators. Fiscal Impact This change may have an impact on franchise fees received by the City. Recommendation This report is provided for information only.
