1 Step Up Be Counted Skyward Data Tracking & Collection Tools Step Up Be Counted is a voluntary health submission based on a national initiative. Please see for details about Wisconsin s version of this submission. Information on the national initiative can be found at Below are the Data Items listed on the Wisconsin School Health Services Data Collection specifications, which can be found at the first website above. The submission will open in February Data Point 1: Number of enrolled students in district Tip: This should be the same number submitted for the District s official third Friday count. Check the DPI website. Data Points 2-13: FTEs for health related positions in the district Tip: Work with your Human Resources department to obtain accurate numbers for these data points. Data Point 14: Number of students enrolled in assigned schools Tip: This should be the same number submitted for this School s official third Friday count. Check the DPI website. Data Point 15: Number of students with an asthma diagnosis Tip 1: Track asthma diagnosis under Health records. Be sure you have at least one code for asthma. If you go with one code, you can use a Comment Code to note that the allergy is life threatening and/or what triggers the allergy.
