Decision A decision to establish the study programme was made by the Board of Governors at Blekinge Institute of Technology Responsibility for this programme lies within the School of Engineering. The programme syllabus was established by the Study Programmes Board of Blekinge Institute of Technology and applies to students admitted in the autumn term Programme code: MTACI 2. Entry Requirements For admission to the study programme Specific Entry Requirements no. 9 apply: Mathematics E, Physics B and Chemistry A. 3. Higher Education Qualification The programme consists of both first cycle and second cycle studies and leads up to a higher education qualification at second cycle with the description. Degree of Master of Science in Engineering: Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on Innovative and Sustainable Product Development or Degree of Master of Science in Engineering: Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on Applied Mechanics. Equivalent descriptions in Swedish are Civilingenjörsexamen i maskinteknik med inriktning mot innovativ och hållbar produktutveckling or Civilingenjörsexamen i maskinteknik med inriktning mot tillämpad mekanik. The possibility is also given to choose an alternative third year and so earn a first cycle qualification with the description
