This Articulation Agreement (hereinafter the "Agreement") between the New York Institute of Technology, located at Northern Boulevard, Old Westbury, New York (hereinafter "NYIT") and Bergen Community College, located at 400 Paramus Road, Paramus, New Jersey confirms an agreement whereby students who have successfully completed a course of study for an Associate's Degree program will be offered admission to one ofnyit's correlating Bachelor Degree programs (Exhibit A), provided that the! Bergen Community College students meet all of the other applicable admissions criteria of NY IT. Said students will receive up to 63 transfer credits at NYIT as per the attached course articulation tables (Exhibit B), which is provided for information purposes only. 2~ Bergen Community College Associate Degree graduates who matriculate at NYIT as full-time students (taking at least 12 credit hours per semester) beginning the semester immediately following their graduation from Bergen Community College, will be eligibly for financial aid, including transfer scholarships. Financial aid and scholarships may be I renewed in successive years, provided that the students maintain the requisite grade point! average and continue to be enrolled for successive semesters. A complete description of I the requirements and terms governing the award of financial aid and scholarships is published annually in the NYIT Undergraduate Catalog, accessible on the website of NYIT, and in the admissions materials ofny IT that will be made available to Bergen Community College students. 3. Bergen Community College agrees to launch 1 message per semester or year, to students just entered or students who have filed for graduation, regarding this agreement and how to get more information about NYIT and will allow NYIT to visit Bergen Community College at least once during each semester, including summer session, to promote this Agreement and NYIT programs. 4. Transfer credit will be awarded per the Tables in Exhibit B. Bergen Community College grades will not be recorded on NYIT's transcript but carry the designation of "TC". Bergen Community College students must forward to NYIT an official, final Bergen Community College transcript verifying their receipt of their Associate Degree prior to registering at NYIT, the costs of said transcript is free as Bergen Community College does not charge for transcripts..
2 5. This articulation agreement will become effective December 1,2006 for a term offivd years, through December 31,2010. Either NYIT or Bergen Community College may. withdraw from this Agreement at any time upon thirty days written notice to the other party, except that commitments made to students will be honored. Furthermore, this Agreement will be reviewed each year by both parties. The Agreement can be amended only in writing signed by both parties. 6. This Agreement is not a legally binding contract and is not enforceable in a court of law or before an arbitral tribunal.
