1 Southside Clinical Psychology OUR TEAM We are a team of experienced and caring Clinical Psychologists and Psychologists, committed to providing the highest quality psychological assessment and therapy service to our clients. We are registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and are Members of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association and / or the Australian Psychological Society. We hold Honours Degrees in Psychology, and have attained or are completing additional postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology. We bring to our practice extensive experience working with adults, adolescents, children, couples and families across a broad range of clinical areas. The practice was established by Leanne Clarke in 2000 and has grown rapidly since this time, receiving a high level of support from local GPs, obstetricians and other health professionals. She is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). Leanne s work within the public and private health systems has provided her with considerable experience in the assessment and treatment of adults experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, impulse control problems and relationship difficulties. She has also worked across a range of settings providing clinical assessment, therapy and early intervention services for infants, children, adolescents and families experiencing emotional, behavioural and relational problems. Leanne works within an integrative treatment framework, drawing on a range of therapy models, including Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as psychodynamic, attachmentfocused and supportive psychotherapy approaches. Leanne has a particular interest in perinatal psychology and has worked within a specialised Karitane day stay unit for families experiencing psychological difficulties associated with pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting. Leanne has invested considerable expertise into the development of the innovative, specialised perinatal psychology and health services provided within Southside Health. She also provides HypnobirthingTM (hypnosis for childbirth) sessions for expectant parents.

3 Leanne provides clinical supervision for clinical psychologists and other health practitioners across a range of areas, including general adult psychology, child and family psychology and perinatal psychology. She also lectures clinical psychology students at the University of Sydney on private practice psychology, including professional ethics and foundations for optimal client care. Leanne is serving as the inaugural Chair of the Allied and Community Health Council, South Eastern Sydney Medicare Locals. Leanne was a Founding Board Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), working along with senior members of the profession from leading universities and Southside Clinical Psychologist Samantha May to achieve the missions of ACPA, which include promotion of the highest standards within the profession of clinical psychology in Australia. She currently serves as Chair of the ACPA Medicare Taskforce, and as a Member of the ACPA Mentoring Program Committee, which has established a national framework for mentoring of new members of the clinical psychology profession. SAMANTHA MAY holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the Open University in England, and has completed a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University. Whilst completing her undergraduate training in England, she worked in the correctional services where she provided assessment and treatment for adult males in a prison setting experiencing complex emotional, interpersonal and offending behaviour problems. She also provided risk management and crisis intervention support to individuals at risk of self-injury and suicide, and contributed to the development of suicide and self-harm intervention strategies and training for corrective services staff. Samantha enjoys working with all age groups, and sees individuals, couples and families. She has provided assessment and treatment for adults with a range of presenting issues, including mood and anxiety disorders, antenatal and postnatal adjustment difficulties, emotion regulation difficulties, addictions, sexual issues, and relationship difficulties, including parenting issues. She has a particular interest in trauma, dissociation, and longstanding emotion regulation and personality issues. Samantha adopts an integrative approach to treatment, drawing from a range of therapy approaches. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches such as Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for the treatment of trauma. Samantha provides professional training within the local community in the area of perinatal psychology. Samantha was a Founding Board Member and is currently a Fellow of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), along with Southside Director Leanne Clarke and senior members of the profession from leading universities to achieve the missions of ACPA, which include promotion of the highest standards within the profession of clinical psychology in Australia. PAULA PANASETIS holds an Honours degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, both from the University of NSW. She is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the Australian Association of Infant Mental Health Inc. (AAIMHI), and the Australasian Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ASTSS). Paula has worked across a variety of settings in the public health system, providing assessment and treatment services for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, stress, trauma and grief. She works within both short- and long-term therapy frameworks, including cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness meditation, schema therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy. Paula has a special interest in the perinatal period and is very passionate about supporting women and their families through pregnancy and postnatally. She has worked as part of an integrated perinatal care program in a local Sydney Hospital and has also undertaken some study in infant mental health and provides parenting support for early infancy. Paula also has a special interest in oncology and works part-time in a local Sydney hospital oncology clinic providing psychological assistance and support to cancer patients and their families. Paula aims to provide a

4 respectful and caring space in which people can feel comfortable to explore and enhance their strengths and potential. She encourages meaning-making and a values-driven approach. Paula has publications in a range of scientific journals, including Comprehensive Psychiatry, Behaviour Research and Therapy, Journal of Traumatic Stress, Journal of Clinical Psychology and Health Care for Women International. She has co-authored a self-help book for road trauma survivors and was instrumental in developing an educational handbook for mental health disaster response published by NSW Health in Paula has presented at numerous conferences and has conducted training workshops primarily in the areas of trauma and post-traumatic stress, perinatal issues, cancer-related adjustment and patient education. NERIDA PALMER holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of NSW and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University. She is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). Nerida has fifteen years experience working with clients to enhance their psychological health and wellbeing, across both public and private health settings. Nerida works with adults and adolescents and their families across a range of issues. She has extensive experience in treating depression, a range of anxiety disorders, trauma, self-harm, interpersonal difficulties, long-standing personality/self-esteem issues and alcohol and drug problems. In addition to her work at Southside Health and Well-Being, Nerida works within a community mental health team, where she specialises in treating adults with acute or complex depression, anxiety and psychosis, often related to childhood or adult trauma. As part of this work, Nerida has been instrumental in setting up and running a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) program for clients with long-standing difficulties with their emotions, relationships and self-worth. As a result, Nerida has significant experience in providing therapy for clients with complex issues, including suicidality and self-harm. Nerida also provides supervision to other psychologists. In this practice, Nerida combines these skills with her experience working with clients who may be struggling to cope with life transitions or life stressors, such as relationship difficulties, pregnancy and parenting, body image and eating problems, grief and loss and study and work-related stress. Nerida provides clients with a safe place in their busy lives to explore their needs, values, strengths and difficulties and to work towards creating the life they want to live. She works with clients on their goals in a supportive and respectful way. Nerida is happy working in both short and longer-term therapy approaches, depending on the client s needs and goals. Nerida works integratively, drawing on a number of therapy models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, DBT, Mindfulness and supportive psychotherapy. HELEN GUNN holds an Honours degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, both from Macquarie University. She is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), and is also a Registered Nurse and Midwife. Helen has worked extensively in women s health with experience in both the public and private healthcare sectors. She has provided clinical care in a range of settings including community health services, maternity services, gynaecology, gynaecological and breast cancer, as well as working in the management of women s health care services. Helen has undertaken psychological research in these clinical areas. Helen has a particular interest in working with adults with depression, anxiety and self-esteem issues and works within both short- and long-term therapy frameworks, including cognitive behaviour therapy, schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness meditation.

5 KATY VIDLER holds an Honours degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University. She is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). Katy previously worked as a primary school teacher in a variety of public and private school settings. She currently enjoys working with children, adults, couples and groups. She has completed advanced training in mindfulness-based psychotherapy and couples therapy with the Hakomi Institute, and is an accredited Right Use of Power Facilitator, following completing the Right Use of Power: Ethics for the Helping Professions program, developed by Cedar Barstow M.Ed., CHT. Katy has provided therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, postnatal depression, dysthymia, emotional issues, adjustment issues, general stress, posttraumatic stress, sleep difficulties, pain and chronic pain issues, childhood-related trauma, family and relationship issues, self-esteem issues, adjustment to pregnancy and parenthood, bereavement and loss issues, adjustment to illness and ageing, and relationship issues. Katy also has an interest in developmental psychology, attachment and parenting issues, the neuroscience of psychotherapy, brain plasticity and interventions that best permit brain and nervous system change, the role of interpersonal relationships in shaping the brain, adjustment to illness and ageing, and bereavement and end of life stage issues. She has also assisted clients in self-knowledge work, helping them to know and understand themselves better, and make desired changes in their lives. Katy works in an integrative way within the principles of mind-body holism. She predominantly draws on the following therapeutic modalities to help clients achieve their desired outcomes: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Trauma Model Therapy, Sensorimotor Processing Psychotherapy (SP), Couples Therapy, and Group Therapy. Katy s main aim in providing psychological services is to assist clients to empower themselves to create their desired life, whether this involves long-term complex changes, or simple specific goals. Katy has developed mindfulness-based group therapy programs and a Mindfulness Meditation & Relaxation CD, which is now available through Southside Health and Wellbeing. She is currently offering a Cultivating Calm group for adults. VEE KEE CHONG holds an Honours degree in Psychology from Birmingham University in England, and has completed a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University. She is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). Vee Kee has worked in hospital, community and private settings providing clinical assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults. She has also gained experience in non-profit mental health agencies in Australia and in domestic violence agencies in Malaysia Vee Kee enjoys working with adults, adolescents and couples for a broad range of issues, including trauma, mood and anxiety issues, long standing personality/self-esteem issues, personality, adjustment difficulties, bereavement and loss, interpersonal problems and eating disorders. She has also had specialisation in supporting school-aged children, adolescents and their families with emotional, relational and behavioural difficulties. Vee Kee has interest and experience in working with sexuality and the gender diverse. Vee Kee individually tailors her approaches to her clients, working within an empathic, safe and collaborative frame to ensure the best possible outcomes. She works by integrating a range of therapy models (both short and long term), including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness based approaches, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, as well as attachment focused and supportive psychotherapy approaches.

6 CHRISTINA BROCK AM holds a Master s degree in Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University. She is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), and Hakomi Australia. Christina has worked in a variety of clinical settings across New South Wales, which includes providing clinical assessments and therapy for adults, and couples, who present with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, adjustment disorders, acute stress disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder. Her psychological treatment modalities include cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, object relations psychotherapy and body centred mindfulness based psychotherapy Christina has a specific and longstanding interest in individuals and couples psychological adjustment to physical illness. Her masters thesis explored the construct of positive growth following the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Her thesis was presented at the 9th World Congress of Psycho-Oncology in London. In 2001, Christina was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for her contribution in setting up a cancer support group for young people with cancer and their carers. In addition to her work in this practice, Christina works as a Clinical Psychologist in the NSW public and private hospital system, in oncology and haematology. JONATHAN OSBORNE holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Wollongong and has completed his Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney. He has worked with adults and adolescents in both private and hospital based treatment settings. Jonathan has been trained as a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist and also has a specific interest in Schema Therapy. Jonathan has particular experience utilising both cognitive and behavioural therapy modalities in the treatment of individuals suffering from anxiety disorders, such as generalised anxiety or panic. He has facilitated group based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy programs for depression, social anxiety, generalised anxiety, substance dependence and anger/impulse control issues. At Southside Jonathan sees adult and adolescent clients, and currently works with a range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, substance use issues, anger and other impulse control or behaviour issues, as well as relationship issues. Jonathan has provided treatment for war veterans, specifically return service men and women from the Vietnam War and UN Peacekeepers whom are suffering from any number of emotional or behavioural difficulties. The focus of his doctoral research evaluated the relationship between post traumatic stress disorder and dementia in World War II and Korean War veterans. DIANA HORREX has a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology, a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and Masters of Science from the University of Sydney. Diana uses a wide range of treatment approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This allows an individualised, flexible approach to meeting each client s particular needs. Diana works primarily with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of emotional, behavioural and life challenges. She treats a broad range of psychological disorders including anxiety and mood disorders, eating disorders and health related difficulties. She has worked in a wide variety of settings, including hospitals, community based treatment facilities and private practice. Diana has a particular interest in working with adults and adolescents with anxiety disorders, including generalised anxiety and social anxiety and she has completed research into the treatment of generalised anxiety disorder. Diana also has a special interest in working with people facing the challenges of physical health problems and has completed research into the psychological impact of being diagnosed and treated for cancer.

7 Diana adopts a collaborative, holistic approach to her work and encourages clients to bring their own expertise and insight into the therapeutic process. She also focuses on improving overall quality of life, in addition to focusing on resolving current areas of difficulty. CATHERINE CHUDLEIGH holds an Honours degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Science and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, all from the University of Sydney. She is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). Catherine has worked in the UK with adolescents, the homeless and those with chronic mental illness. She has also worked in Sydney with women and children who have been victims of domestic violence. Catherine has practiced in a range of environments, including hospital, private and community settings. She has extensive experience working in health psychology and the integration of the body and the mind. Catherine completed her research in the area of young people with psychosis. She has also published in the area of youth mental health and functional somatic symptoms. Catherine has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and uses an integrative approach to therapy which matches her clients needs. She is particularly interested in attachment theory as well as Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Catherine also offers psychometric testing for children aged 6-16 years. Catherine has extensive experience working clinically with children and families, and has a particular interest and experience in psychometric testing for children and adolescents. SHARLENE MANTZ holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Wollongong, and is currently in the final stages of completing a combined Doctor of Clinical Psychology/PhD at the University of Sydney. Sharlene is an Associate Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the Australian Association for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (AACBT). Sharlene has experience working with a wide range of problems amongst varying age groups. These include, but are not limited to, anxiety and mood disorders, bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, work or study-related stress, and drug and alcohol problems. She applies individually tailored treatment plans driven by the client s goals, and employs a range of psychological approaches. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema-Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Systemic and Relational approaches. Sharlene also has a particular interest in working with individuals who experience obsessive thoughts and/or compulsive behaviours, such as in obsessive compulsive disorder. In addition to her clinical work, Sharlene has a strong research background in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD) and OCD amongst children and adolescents. Her doctoral thesis explores the role of thought processes and parent-child interactions in OCD. KATE GODFREY holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons), a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and a Masters of Science from the University of Sydney. She is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders. Kate has experience working with children, families and adults, both individually and in groups. She has a particular interest in the treatment of childhood anxiety and mood disorders, as well as parent-child relational difficulties. Furthermore, she is passionate about helping individuals suffering from eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and other eating and body image difficulties. Kate utilises a range of evidenced based treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy and attached-focused interventions, and tailors these approaches to meet the individual needs of each client. In addition to her clinical work, Kate has a research background in family-based treatment for anorexia nervosa and has

8 published research in the European Eating Disorders Review and the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Family Therapy. AMANDA MCGRATH is a fully registered psychologist and is currently completing the registrar program for endorsement as a clinical psychologist. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, a Masters of Science and an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Sydney. She is an Associate Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). Amanda is warm and compassionate, and takes care to develop individually tailored treatment plans that best support the client s needs. She uses an integrative approach, drawing on evidence-based treatment models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, attachment-based approaches, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. Amanda has experience working with adults, groups, children and families in a range of hospital and clinical settings. She has provided clinical assessment and treatment for anxiety, depression, emotion regulation difficulties and relational problems. Amanda has also completed specialised training in treating child behavioural problems using an integrated family intervention approach, and is passionate about building strong, nurturing parent-child relationships. She has a particular interest in adjustment to physical illness, women s health and perinatal psychology, and has experience working in psychooncology. In addition to her clinical work, Amanda s Masters thesis involved the development and successful evaluation of a decision aid tool to help women with epilepsy make decisions about pregnancy. She has published research in this area. JOHN CHALMERS is a fully registered psychologist and is currently completing the registrar program for endorsement as a clinical psychologist. He holds an Honours degree in Psychology from Macquarie University, as well as a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Masters of Science from the University of Sydney. John is an Associate Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). John is warm and dedicated, committed to working collaboratively with clients to help them understand and overcome their current challenges. He utilises and integrates a range of evidence based treatments, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, and attachment-based approaches. John takes care to individualise treatment to best support each client s needs. He has experience working with adults and families across private and hospital treatment settings, in both individual and group formats. His experience includes providing assessment and treatment for anxiety, depression, bipolar, adjustment difficulties, and interpersonal difficulties. He also has specific training and experience in the assessment and treatment of child behavioural difficulties using an integrated family intervention approach, and is committed to helping parents work together to build strong attachments and nurturing environments for their children. John has particular interest in the treatment of anxiety disorders, reflected by his research into the psychophysiology of anxiety, and has published in this area. GEORGIA MCCLURE is a fully registered psychologist and is currently working towards endorsement as a clinical psychologist. She holds an Honours degree in psychology from Macquarie University and is nearing completion of a combined Doctorate of Clinical Psychology/Masters of Science from the University of Sydney. Georgia is an Associate Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). Georgia is empathic, takes a collaborative approach with each client and values the therapeutic

9 relationship as key to positive outcomes. She takes an integrative approach to therapy to meet the needs of each individual client, drawing on the evidence-based techniques of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectal Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness and attachment-based strategies. Georgia is particularly interested in child, adolescent and family therapy, and feels passionately about working with young people and their families. Georgia s Masters research focused on adolescent emotional, social and cognitive development. In addition to this, Georgia has extensive research experience in the area of mood disorders. Georgia has experience working with older adults, adults, young people and their families across community and hospital settings. In these settings she has worked with individuals to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for depression, anxiety, relationship problems, addiction, emotion regulation and illness/health concerns. SARAH KEZELMAN is a fully registered psychologist and is currently completing the registrar program for endorsement as a clinical psychologist. She holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of New South Wales, and is in the final stages of completing a combined Doctorate of Clinical Psychology/Masters of Science at the University of Sydney. She is an Associate Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). Sarah uses an integrative approach to therapy to individually tailor treatment plans that best meet her clients needs, build on existing strengths and promote personal growth and development. Drawing on diverse psychological approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema-Based Therapy, Relational and Mindfulness-based approaches, Sarah focuses on providing a warm and collaborative therapeutic space. She is empathic and considered in her work. Sarah has worked with adults and adolescents in individual therapy, as well as in groups across a range of private, hospital, and community settings. She has provided clinical assessment and treatment for people experiencing anxiety and depression, as well as for those with difficulties in emotional regulation, life adjustment and self-esteem. Sarah has particular expertise, experience and interest in working with those with eating disorders. She is passionate about providing a holistic treatment that attends to both the psychological and physiological needs of people affected in this way. In support of her clinical work, Sarah s Master s thesis explored the psychological impact of rapid inpatient nutritional rehabilitation for adolescents with anorexia nervosa and has published in the Journal of Eating Disorders. TRACY BURRELL holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of NSW, and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University, where she held the Clinical Psychology Prize in Tracy draws from a range of research-based treatment models to help clients with panic, anxiety and depression symptoms, as well as interpersonal difficulties, eating disorders, and substance-abuse issues. She has worked as a Clinical Psychologist in both hospital and community settings. Tracy has completed research in Perinatal Psychology and specialist training in Attachment-Based therapy for children and adolescents. She has a strong interest in providing treatment that strengthens the emotional and psychological bonds between parents and children, and fosters psychological resilience. Tracy is currently on maternity leave. YEN LIM holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Masters of Science from the University of Sydney. She is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the Australian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy (AACBT).

10 Yen is a compassionate therapist who believes that the courageous decision to engage in therapy should be met with warmth, respect and great care. Yen individually tailors treatment plans to help deepen insight and draw on personal strengths. Based on each person s unique needs, this may involve the integration of: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy; Schema Therapy; Narrative Therapy; or Relational and Mindfulness-based approaches such as, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Yen works with adults, adolescents and school-age children who may be experiencing a broad range of difficulties including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, relational, self-esteem, life adjustment, sleep, sexuality, impulse control and emotion regulation difficulties. She can provide short-term interventions or longer-term therapy for more complex issues. Yen also has a particular interest in working with individuals who may experience alterations in perception, thought and behaviour, such as in schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Yen has a strong background in schizophrenia research, student counselling and is the creator of Pic-See, a visually-based ipad/tablet App for children with early, specific and special needs, such as Autism. Yen is currently on maternity leave. INGRID MCPHEE is a fully registered psychologist and is currently completing the registrar program for endorsement as a clinical psychologist. She holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Sydney and is nearing completion of a combined Doctorate of Clinical Psychology/PhD, also at the University of Sydney. Ingrid is an Associate Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the Australian Association for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (AACBT). Ingrid is sensitive and engaging in her work, taking a collaborative approach with each client to develop a treatment plan that recognises their unique strengths and values, and works to address their current challenges, while also promoting their overall health and wellbeing. In order to best support her clients individual needs, Ingrid may integrate evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, and attachment-based approaches. Ingrid has experience working with adults, adolescents, children and families across hospital, private and community settings. In these settings she has worked with individuals and groups to provide assessment and treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship, stress and sleep issues, and difficulties with emotion regulation and impulse control. She has a particular interest in health psychology and is passionate about providing holistic treatment to support the mind and body. Ingrid combines a strong interest and background in research with her clinical practice. Her doctoral thesis has involved designing and delivering a group-based CBT program for people who experience vestibular migraine, to investigate whether the CBT skills and strategies introduced can help to reduce the intensity and frequency of symptoms, and improve quality of life.
