2 TO THE WESTMORELAND COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE STUDENT: Entering college is an important step for each person both personally and professionally. You have taken the first step by beginning your education at WCCC. This booklet was prepared to help you in the next step toward your baccalaureate degree - transferring to Seton Hill University. It can be used as a guide in determining which classes you've already taken at WCCC that will transfer to Seton Hill University. The first column on each page lists WCCC courses by number; the comparable Seton Hill University course is directly across in the second column. As you make your plans to transfer, please keep in mind the following: 1. Seton Hill University may limit the number of credits a student may earn in any one area. The number of credits transferred will be determined by the Registrar of Seton Hill University. 2. Transfer students are required to earn a minimum of 48 Seton Hill University credits to be considered for a degree candidate. 3. Transfer students must take at least one-half of their required major or minor credits at Seton Hill University. 4. A minimum of 120 credits is required to earn an undergraduate degree at Seton Hill University. 5. You must earn a grade of C- or better for courses to transfer to Seton Hill University. 6. Liberal arts core, major, and minor curriculum requirements are subject to change. Transcript evaluations and transfer of credits will be determined by the Registrar s Office at the time of your matriculation into Seton Hill University. Please call our Transfer Counselor at when you are ready to apply for admission to Seton Hill University or if you have any questions or need additional information. Seton Hill University, as an educational institution and as an employer, does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, age, sex, and marital or handicapped status. This commitment is made by the university, and required by federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including Title IX, Revised September 2009
