2 Create Your Success Story at MATC An MATC education works for our graduates and the many local businesses that rely on them. The college s career-centered associate degree and technical diploma programs are linked with industry professionals who advise the college on what skill sets graduates need to succeed. The results are impressive. Our 2012 graduates were employed quickly and earn competitive starting wages. Dr. Michael L. Burke MATC s class of 2012 distinguished themselves despite a still sluggish economy. Almost nine of 10 associate degree graduates were employed within six months of graduation. Eight of 10 technical diploma graduates were employed within six months of graduation. These impressive achievements are a testament to the commitment of our graduates, the skills they acquired and the abilities of our faculty to prepare students for careers. MATC graduates can be found in virtually every Milwaukee area workplace. They are the skilled technical professionals in rewarding occupations that include creative/digital careers, protective services, skilled manufacturing and building trades, healthcare, business, engineering, IT, green industries and more. Whatever the workplace need, we have the occupational programs and the talented graduates ready to respond. Many of our students also enroll at MATC as the first two years of a bachelor s degree. Our affordability, which puts us among the best values in higher education, our small class sizes, accessible faculty, and convenient campus locations help make MATC your best route to personal and professional goals. I invite you to learn more about our many career opportunities through this report, by going to matc.edu or, better still, by visiting one of our four full-service campuses. Our support staff and faculty are ready to help you start your MATC success story. Sincerely, Michael L. Burke, Ph.D. President ASSOCIATE DEGREES State Employment Opportunities 1 Percent Average Employed Annual Wage (Actual) (Projected) (Projected) Accounting 88% $34, Administrative Professional 67% $37, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology 83% $33, Anesthesia Technology 100% $34, Animation (100%) ** Architectural Technology 67% ($34,000.00) Automotive Technology 83% $40, Automotive Technology Comprehensive * * Baking and Pastry Arts 100% $22, Banking and Financial Services 100% $19,
