IEP Transfer - Bridge February _017 IEP Transfer is a supporting module to WebIEP, designed for use by data entry personnel. It is a Windows based application designed to run as a client-server application. The purpose of IEP Transfer is to assist the data entry user in reviewing completed electronic IEPs, adding teachers to the services, and then setting the student record as reviewed so the data can be exported to SELPA System II s District Access program (DA). The IEP Transfer program or Bridge contains student data from completed IEPs that have been pulled in from the SELPA System II WebIEP database. The Bridge is a collection of data fields that have corresponding fields in District Access (or the MIS database). The Bridge includes the District Access pages 1, 2, 3, Contacts and Services page information. Log in Enter IEP Transfer by entering the same combination of user name and password that allows the user to access District Access. The user must have Update Access rights to their District set in District Access to edit their students in the Bridge. 1

Main Forms The user can enter sections for Preview, Transfer, Reports, or Utilities. Preview allows the user to see a list of students with completed IEPs. After a student is selected, the IEP data can be reviewed and set as ready to Transfer. Transfer is the utility to transfer the reviewed records to the MIS database. Reports include Student Data Reports and Transfer Reports. Utilities include preferences and edit file options. Preview The Preview section allows the user to review the data from completed IEPs. Click on the [Preview] button and the following screen will appear: 2

The students listed are those students that meet the user s profile of districts and or SELPAs in which the user is given access. The students are listed by Last Name, First Name order in the grid. The Reviewed column on the grid displays False for those students whose data has not been set as reviewed and ready to transfer. A True value means that the student s data has been reviewed and is ready to transfer to the MIS database. The Initial IEP grid column has an X in the column if the IEP is an Initial IEP. For initial IEPs, the user would not find a matching student from the MIS database. However, the student search window still opens so that the user can confirm that the student is not currently in the database. The Hold IEP grid column has an X in the column if the IEP has only promote services listed for the student. The IEP is placed on Hold so that the IEP does not enter the MIS database until the promote services are released by the System Administrator. Services with a mixture of current and promote services are not placed on Hold. Button Functions Button functions common to the program are described below: [Find Student]: After entering the filter criteria for the student you wish to locate, click [Find Student]. The record pointer will be positioned on that student, or on the closest student found meeting the criteria. [Clear]: This option clears out all information typed in the filters and allows the user to start over without closing the screen or saving any information. [Next Page]: Once you have located the student on the grid, click the [Next Page] button or double click your mouse on the desired student to move to the comparison screens. [Close]: The [Close] button closes the screen and returns the user to the Main Form screen. If data has been updated, the message of Do you want to save the changes will appear. Click [OK] or [Cancel]. The Bridge will allow the user to save whatever data has been updated, even if all of the screens have not yet been reviewed. The screens will display a message of Updated with errors if the record has not been set as Reviewed. 3

[Update]: During the review process, the user can click the [Update] button to save their work. The screen will remain open. The Bridge allows the user to update with errors. This gives the user flexibility to review a portion of the record, save any changes, and complete the process later. A Reviewed record will save and close with an Update Completed message. The [Update] function applies to the whole record, so there is no need to click [Update] for each screen. Student Matches and Non-matches After the specific student has been located on the grid, select [Next Page]. The Bridge will attempt to locate a matching student from the MIS database. The match is based upon Student ID, Last Name, First Name, and Birthdate. If a student is found that matches all these components, then a successful match has been made and the Demographics Page 1 will be displayed. If the Bridge cannot find a student match, the message of The Student was not found will be displayed. After clicking [OK], the Find SSII Student Browser screen will open. Using the filters at the top of the Find SSII Student Browser screen, locate the student assumed to be in the MIS database and set the record pointer on that student. The details of the IEP student you are attempting to locate are displayed as yellow readonly fields, and the Last Name and First Name have already pre-populated the name filters. If a match is found, click [Use Match/Close]. If no MIS database student match is found, click [No Match Found/ Close]. 4

When no match is found, the student is assumed to be a new student to the MIS database. IEP student information MIS student database 5

After the Find SSII Student Browser window closes, if a student match was made, that student s information will be displayed in the fields underneath the main student search window. Click [Next Page With Selection] to use the student data that was located. Matching SSII student information populates fields after successful match. Click [Next Page With Selection] to use the matched student. 6

No data populates fields when no match found. Click [Next Page No Selection] when no student match found. If no student match was selected from the Find SSII Student Browser window, use the [Next Page No Selection] on the bottom of the screen. The Next Page selections will open up to the Demographics page 1 screen. If the student IDs do not match, the user will receive the message: The MIS and IEP Student IDs do not match. Call your System Administrator regarding this discrepancy. The system will allow the user to continue reviewing the student record. However, the record cannot be set to the Reviewed and Ready to Transfer status until the Administrator changes either the District Access or the IEP Student ID so that the IDs match. 7

After the matching process, click the appropriate [Next Page] button to proceed to Demographics Page 1. General Screen Layout Tabs and Tab Colors The tabs on the screen reference the type of data located on that page. Pages 1-7 contain general student data that corresponds to District Access Pages 1-3. The Contacts tab holds the contact information. The Services Page contains the services data that corresponds to the District Access services page. The Future Information tab is for promote information. The Summary Page recaps the status of each screen. The tab colors refer to the system s analysis of the data. 8

Green tabs: The system found no data differences between the MIS Data side and the IEP Data side. Since no data differences have been detected, the Bridge marks those pages as reviewed. Yellow tabs: The system detected a data difference between the MIS Data side and the IEP Data side, or a warning was detected that the user should review. Red tabs: The Bridge detected errors on the page, or required data was missing. MIS Data and IEP Data Sides Each field has a MIS Data side and a corresponding IEP Data side that are clearly marked. The left side of each screen displays the MIS Data or the live MIS data that has been pulled in directly from the District Access database for this student. The MIS Data side is always yellow, which means the data is in a read-only state and is not editable on the Bridge s review pages. A corresponding field on the right side of each screen displays the IEP Data or the live IEP data for this student. This IEP Data has been pulled in directly from the WebIEP database and can be edited by the user. Changes made on the IEP Data side are updated in the live student IEP data record in the WebIEP database. 9

White IEP Data fields The fields have been color coded to allow the user to quickly scan the screen and locate differences in the field values. When an IEP Data field is white, the system has detected no difference in the data from the MIS Data side, so the data matches for that field. Pink IEP Data fields When an IEP Data field is pink, the system has detected a difference in the data from the MIS Data side for that field. All pink fields should be reviewed for content. 10

If the IEP Data side on the page is acceptable, then mark the This Page is OK checkbox. Each data screen has its own This Page is Ok checkbox. By clicking This Page is OK, the screen s tab will change to green, and the review is complete for that page. Data that is either missing or not recognized by the MIS database will throw an error if the user attempts to check This Page is OK before the record is updated. Note: If the IEP Data side does not recognize a table selection, then the MIS database must be updated with the selections used in the IEP table. Updating the underlying table selections are done by your System Administrator. Any IEP Data fields may be updated no matter the color of the field, but any change will edit the IEP live database. 11

Red IEP Data fields When an IEP Data field is red, the system has detected an error in the IEP Data. An error message should also appear when the This Page is OK is checked. All red fields must be changed to appropriate values. Grayed Out Fields When fields are grayed out, the data is not compared between the MIS and IEP Data sides. The fields are grayed out when a preference is set by the System Administrator to not compare the field values. When the transfer is done, the grayed out data is not transferred, and any MIS data is retained. IEP Data Wins The IEP Data values win. After the data is reviewed and the record is transferred to MIS, the MIS database will be changed to exactly what is shown on the IEP Data side. In the sample below, notice that the Medi-Cal fields had data present on the MIS Data side, but since that data was not included as part of the electronic IEP there is no data shown on the IEP Data side for these fields. By accepting the record as is, the values of blank will win and after the record is transferred, the Medi-Cal fields will be blank in MIS for this student. If the values are to be kept, key that data into the IEP data fields. 12

The hot key functions for copy and paste can be used instead of retyping the values to be retained. Highlight the data to be copied. Use Control+C to copy the data. Set the cursor in the field to receive the data, and paste in the value using Control+P. Contacts Page The contacts page has a somewhat different layout due to the fact that the number of contacts on the MIS Data side can be unlimited. To compare the data, set the record pointer on each of the sides to match up a contact. The screen shot below has marked Contact 1 to be reviewed on both sides. When the record pointers are on the same contact, click [Edit] or [View] to continue. Use [Add] to enter a new contact. For new contacts, there is no contact data shown in the MIS Data fields. Use the [Copy] button to move a MIS Data contact to become an IEP Data contact. First select the MIS Data contact to be copied. Then click [Copy] and that contact will be moved to the IEP Data side. Only IEP Data contacts are retained after the transfer. Click the Do Not Compare checkbox to edit an existing Contact with the MIS Data side not populated. 13

Copy button Match contacts by setting record pointer on the same contact. Click [View], [Edit], or [Add] and the Contact Pages will appear. The Contact Pages include two screens. The first is the Name and Address fields, and the second screen contains the contact s phone numbers. 14

Once all the contacts have been reviewed, click This Page is OK, and the Contacts tab color will change to green. Again, the IEP Data side wins. If the value is to be kept, key that data into the IEP data field. Services The services page shows a summary grid of the services. A red colored service tab means that required information is missing. The green colored service tab has all required data added. The service grid is shown below. The MIS Data side shows the existing services with their current class number and teacher. By clicking on a specific service, yellow readonly fields display the details of the service underneath the grid. These read-only fields are to assist the user in identifying which MIS Service matches the IEP Data service. The IEP Data side also displays the read-only fields underneath the grid for a specific service. Since the student s IEP does not contain the class or teacher that will provide the service, the IEP Data side does not initially contain the class or teacher information. Each service record must be updated with this data. Check the [Display Full Class Listing] checkbox to activate the complete class/teacher listing once inside the service. This checkbox can be pre-set to be always on or off by setting a user preference. When this checkbox is not checked, only those class/teachers at the attending school will be available for your selection. 15

Match services by setting record pointer on the same service codes To compare a service, set the record pointer on each of the sides to match up the service codes. In the screen shot above, the record pointers are set on the 350 service to be reviewed. To assist in aligning the services, the Primary Service is listed first in the grid. After the Primary Service, all other services are listed in service code order. When the record pointers are on the desired service, click [Edit] or [View] to continue to enter the Service Details screen. 16

Service data that is either missing or not recognized by the MIS database will give an error if the user attempts to check This Page is OK before the record is updated. All fields on the services pages are required fields. The student s attending school and grade are visible on the service page to assist the user in assigning the class number/teacher for each service. Use the [Copy Class] button to copy the MIS Data class and teacher data into the IEP Data service record, if desired. When the services are transferred to the MIS database, all the services listed on the MIS Data side will be ended with the date of the IEP and sent to History. The IEP Data service information will be displayed as the current student services. Again, the IEP Data wins. Services and Promote Each IEP Data service contains a Promote Services field to designate whether the service is a current or future service. When the system can detect the proper answer to this field, the selection will be pre-populated. For service begin dates that are less than today s date, the Promote Service will be set to False. Note: Promote Service set to False The service is a current service that has already started, or will start in the near future. Promote Service set to True The service is a promote service that will begin at a future date. 17

For services dates that are greater than today s date, there are two possibilities. The System Administrator can set a preference that could allow future services begin dates. For this illustration, let s assume the Administrator set the preference to allow a 30 day window of future service begin dates. During that 30 day window, future service begin dates can be used but the Promote Services field must be set by the user. If the service date begins after the 30 day window, the system will pre-set that service as a promote service. For example: If today is June 30 and the preference window is set to allow a 30 day window of future service begin dates If the service begin date is July 15 (within the preference window), the user must set the Promote Services field. If the service begin date is September 10, the system will set the Promote Services to True - a future service. If the service begin date is May 28, the system will set the Promote Services to False - a current service. When the Bridge data is moved to District Access, all current services will be listed on the Services tab as active services. Any promote services will be listed on the Promote tab as future services. During the normal course of District Access, promote services will be moved to current services by the System Administrator during the Promote run. Hold IEPs : If 100% of the student s services are set to Promote is True, then the student will not be receiving any services until a later date. The user can complete the Bridge entry for the student, but the record will be set to Hold status on the Summary page because the student can not be transferred to District Access until such time as the System Administrator is ready to accept this student. A common example of a Hold IEP: the student has their IEP in late Spring, yet will not start receiving services until the Fall. Amendments and Matching Services When there is an amendment IEP, all services must be reviewed in the Bridge. Services that are continuing as unchanged, modified, or are ended need to be matched with the corresponding MIS Service before the transfer of records is allowed. 18

General Procedures On the Services Page when the IEP type includes Amendment, there will be an extra column visible on the IEP Data search grid. The column is called TYPE. There will be letters in the type column, which represent the types of service change. A Adding Service this service has been added in the Amendment IEP. M Modify Service this service has been modified in the Amendment IEP. E Ended Service this service has been ended in the Amendment IEP. U Unchanged - Continuing Service this service has not been changed. Matching Services The IEP Amendment service types of M, E, or U must be matched to the corresponding MIS Service in the MIS Data search grid. The reason for having to do this is that the program needs to time stamp both matching services as a set. This is the only way the program will know how to update the MIS Services during the transfer process. If there is no time stamp, then an error message will be received. The time stamp is triggered on updating the service record. To match a service, select the IEP Service using your mouse, then select the corresponding MIS Service. Review the screen shot below on how the cursors are set and matches up the service codes. 19

Set the cursors on each service side to match up the service Press the Edit button to enter the Services Details screen using the set of matched services. Review the IEP Service and click [Update]. On Modify Service types, the following message will appear upon update: 20

Press the OK button if you wish the service to be matched and the begin and end dates set as noted. Press the Cancel button to stop. When the Type of Amendment is End Service, match the MIS Service to the IEP Service. Since the service is ending, the Class Number and Teacher Name fields are grayed out on the IEP Data side of the Services Details screen. No teacher can be assigned. Class Number and Teacher Name fields are grayed out when the service is ending. Click Update and the following message will appear: 21

Press the OK button if you want the service to be matched and the MIS Service ended as noted. Press the Cancel button to stop. On Unchanged Continuing Service types, there is no message when clicking [Update] when no changes are detected for the service. The continuing service will not be ended or restarted as in the case of Modified services. However, if an Unchanged type does have changes in the service (which means the type is incorrect), the message below will be given, and the service type will be automatically changed to Modify. The reason for this is that modified services are ended and restarted. All Unchanged - Continuing Service types must be matched to get a time stamp. The time stamp is triggered on updating the service record. On Adding Service types a corresponding MIS Service does not exist. Review the service and add the class/teacher. Remember that amendment services must be reviewed and updated to set the time stamped or an error message will occur. Until the student record is transferred to MIS, the services match can be done over and over until the user is satisfied with the results. Service Type in Error The screen shot below displays a sample of a service type error. Service 415 is on the MIS and IEP Data sides. Service 415 appears to be mislabeled as A for Adding service, when it is most likely suppose to be M for Modify or U for Unchanged. The 22

logic is that if Adding the service is truly correct, the same service code would not usually be present in the MIS Data service listing. If the type is left as Adding Service, then the service will be added as a new service instead of matched up to the existing 415 service and updated as a set. Review the readonly description of the services at the bottom of the screen to determine if the M or U is the appropriate type. To change the Service Type, click the Edit Amendment check box to open the Edit Amendment box. Edit Amendment to change the TYPE To change an amendment type, select the service that is in error with your cursor, and change the type in the Type of Amendment box. Once finished with modifying the type of amendment, press the Close button. This will close the screen and the Services Page will be available for use. 23

Comparing Matched Services If there is confusion about which services on the IEP Data side are matched to the MIS Data service, click the Matched Services check box. Comparing Matched Services This will bring up the following screen: Near the middle of the comparison grid, there is a Compare column. This has either an equal (=) sign or a plus (+) sign. An equal sign means that the IEP Service will replace 24

the MIS Service. The plus sign means that the IEP Service will be added to the MIS Services. If the services are not matched as expected, then close the Matched Services screen. Reset the service matches by selecting the IEP Data service using your mouse, then select the corresponding MIS Data service. Edit the record, review and then Update. Future Information The Future Information tab becomes active when 100% of the services are detected to be Promote services. The Grade is the only required field. Enter the student s future grade (the grade the student will be when he receives the services.) If all other Future IEP Data fields are left blank, then the Current IEP Data will win upon transfer to District Access. 25

Summary Page After each tab has been reviewed, move on to the Summary tab to complete the last phase of the review process. The Notes field is available to add any user comments, such as why the Review was not completed, if that is the case. These notes are only visible in the Bridge and are not transferred to the MIS database. A report can be printed that includes these comments. Make your comments meaningful, such as Need IIS class setup at Skyline, or Confirm service 350 dropped, not on IEP. Each tab has a corresponding checkbox on the Summary Page. Each checkbox should already be checked or can be checked from this page. When checkmarks for all pages are detected by the system, the message of This student record has been reviewed and is ready to transfer will be activated and ready to be checked. Only check if all data is correct and ready to transfer. If the system detected that the student ID does not match between the MIS and IEP Data sides, the message below will be displayed when attempting to click the reviewed checkbox. The user should contact their System Administrator to change one of the student IDs. Until the ID conflict is resolved, the student record cannot be marked as ready to transfer. 26

If the IEP is a Hold IEP, the user can click the This student record has been reviewed and is ready to transfer, but will receive the message below. The system will allow the checkbox to be checked then sets a Hold status on the record. Once the message of This student record has been reviewed and is ready to transfer is successfully marked and the record is saved, the user is taken back to the student grid. The Reviewed column on the student grid will show the record with Reviewed as True. Previously the record displayed False for this column. Any Hold IEPs will be marked on the grid under the Hold IEP column as True. 27

Once the student record is Reviewed, then the IEP Data is ready to transfer into the MIS Database. Transfer The transfer of reviewed student records to the MIS database is done through the Transfer utility. From the Main Form screen, click the [Transfer] button and the following screen will open. 28

Those student records that have True in the Reviewed column on the student search grid are ready to Transfer. The exception is Hold IEPs which will not transfer until the hold is released. Click [Transfer] to begin the process. Notes: If the Transfer button is grayed out, then the user does not have the privilege to Transfer IEPs. Contact your System Administrator to update your District Access user account if you should have this privilege. For users that have the privilege to Transfer, any student that is visible in the student search grid that is set to Reviewed is True will be transferred by the user clicking the [Transfer] button. The grid in the lower right of the screen will display each student ID in turn that is being processed. Exclusive use of the student records being transferred is required. If a record cannot obtain a record lock for a specific District Access student, a message will be displayed as shown below. This means that a user is in District Access in Edit mode on the same student record that is trying to be transferred by the Bridge. Attempt the transfer again at a later time. A log file named IEPTransferError.log lists all students that have not been transferred. Those untransferred students are still listed in the Transfer window because they were unsuccessfully transferred. Once the transfer is complete, a message will state so, and the path to the Transfer report that was generated will be displayed. 29

Reports There are three report options in the IEP Transfer program. Student Data Transmittal: Print a student data transmittal form that is populated with WebIEP data or is blank. Print the CASEMIS Codes. Student List: Print a list of those students listed in the Bridge student search window. Student records already transferred to District Access will not be available on this report. District of Service: Select the District of Service. Print Style: Make a selection on how to print comments on the report. Print Comments: Print the Student List with comments. 30

Print Only Records with Comments: Print only the student records that include comments. Print Without Comments: Prints a Student List without comments. Reviewed Status: Reviewed is True: Print only those Bridge student records where Reviewed is True. Reviewed is False: Print only those Bridge student records where Reviewed is False. Not Filtered: Print all Bridge student records. Order by District and: Set a sorting order for the report. The report will always sort by District. Select the secondary sort order from Name, Student ID, or IEP Date. Page Break by District of Service: Select False to have no page break, or True to page break for each District of Service. Heading for the Report: Add your own title to the report. Report Date: Enter a report date. Transfer and Hold Reports: The system provides Transfer and Hold Reports as PDF files. Click [Open] then locate the file where the bridge.exe resides. A list of PDF documents will be displayed. Date transferred, District ID, and a record number catalog each report. 31

A transfer report is automatically created when the transfer utility is run. The Transfer reports provide a list of all student records that have been reviewed then transferred to District Access using the IEP Transfer program. A Hold report is automatically created when the Clear Hold IEPs utility is run. The Hold reports provide a list of the student records that had been marked as Hold IEPs. 32

Utilities The Utilities include editing of text files, Clearing Hold IEPs, and setting SELPA Preferences. Utilities are only available to full access users. Clear Hold IEPs: This utility will remove the Hold on student records so that the record can be transferred to District Access. Hold IEPS are those IEPs that contain only Promote Services and no Current Services. This type of IEP is usually held for the Fall when the student will start receiving services. These IEPs must be held in the Bridge until such time as District Access is ready to receive them. Releasing the Hold too soon would cause the records to be Transferred into District Access before the student starts these services and the services would show future begin dates. Before clearing Hold IEPs, the System Administrator should complete the June 30 Pupil Count, and run the Promote in DA. After that, District Access is ready to receive the IEPs that are on hold. Run the Clear Hold IEPs Utility, then run the Transfer Utility. Click [Start] to run the process. A PDF will automatically be created with all students that had IEPs on Hold. 33

Delete PDFs: This utility will assist the user in deleting PDFs that have been automatically created when using the Bridge. Press the [View Files] to locate the files to be deleted. The PDFs are located in the BridgeIEP folder. To delete multiple records, use the Control or Shift keys to select records. Then press the Delete key on your keyboard to delete all the marked files. Edit/View Text Files: Allows the user to review text files. Click [Open Files] and locate the file to be viewed or edited. Open the folder where the bridge.exe is located if you are locating a text file that was created by the Bridge. 34

Preferences: IEP Transfer: Allows the System Administrator to set the preferences for the IEP Transfer program. The Bridge includes a few non-casemis fields, such as Summer School, Severely Disabled, and a few others that correspond to District Access screens. Some SELPAs include these fields on their IEP forms and others do not. When the data is not collected, the preferences give the SELPA the option to gray out the field so that no data comparison is required during the student record review. The preference tabs correspond to the review layout screens. Set the field to True for the field to be visible during the MIS and IEP comparison. Set the field to False for the field to be grayed out and not compared during the comparison. When should a preference be set to False? If a field is used in District Access but there is no corresponding field on the IEP, then the field should be set to False when a preference is available. Let s review the The IEP Data Wins concept using the Language Pupil field. When the preference is set to True, the Language Pupil field on the IEP Data side is active. If the user does not enter a value in the IEP Data field, upon transfer, the IEP Data side will win, and the value of blank will be entered into the MIS data field. When the preference is set to False, the Language Pupil fields on both the MIS and IEP Data sides are grayed out. The user does not have the option to enter data. Upon transfer, any MIS Data is retained. The options for each tab are listed below: Demo 1 Language Pupil 35

Interpreter Demo 2 SELPA From Demo 3 Severely Disabled Wheel Chair Demo 4 Summer School Migrant Interdistrict Transportation and Provider Medi-CAL Authorization Demo 5 None Demo 6 Enrollment Start Date Previous Enrollment Date Services Always Hide Add Button: If the users are allowed to Add services to the IEP side, enable the Add button by entering False. If users are not allowed to Add services to the IEP side, hide the Add button by entering True. Display Add Button Only when there is an Addendum/Amendment IEP: When the IEP type is Amendment, if the users are allowed to Add services to the IEP side, enable the Add button by entering False. If users are not allowed to Add services to the IEP side, hide the Add button by entering True. Service End Dates are Active: To make the Service End Date fields visible in the Bridge Service preview screens, set this preference to True. By having the Service End Date fields visible, any dates entered, are the end dates that will transfer to District Access. To 36

make the Service End Dates not visible in the Bridge Service preview screens, set this preference to False. By having the Service End Date fields not visible, the system will use the IEP date as the default Service End Date. Contacts None Transfer Only allow Full Access users to Transfer IEPs?: Set to True to allow only users with the privilege of Transfer IEP to Transfer reviewed records. The Transfer button would be grayed out for all users without the Transfer IEP setting of True. Only allow Full Access users to Transfer IEPs?: Set to False to allow all Bridge users the privilege to Transfer reviewed records. Note: For users that have the privilege to Transfer IEPS, any student that is visible in the student search grid that is set to Reviewed is True will be transferred by the user clicking the [Transfer] button. Preferences: User Preferences List only teachers and classes at the student s attending school: Set to True to limit the teachers and classes to the student s attending school when selecting the class/teacher for a service. Setting this to False will list all Teachers and Classes. Change Colors: Allows the user to change the colors of the screen background. Click [Change Colors] and the following screen opens. Try the different background color options to find one suitable for your work environment. The text on the lower left depicts how the text will appear in the color selected. For the darker background colors, the text will be white. For the lighter background colors, the text will be black. Click [Apply] to select the desired color option. When sending s or faxes to technical support, the lighter background colors present an easier to print and read version of the screen shot. 37
