The following is an outline of some of the benefits for which you may be eligible for under this insurance policy. This summary is provided for informational purposes only and does not replace the policy contract. 2 OMA - OVERWATCH SERVICE DESCRIPTION There are essentially two service components that make up the Overwatch service provided to OPIP insured OMA members. These are described below: 1. WebApp solution Available for use regardless of destination, this App will enable the insured member to access travel risk alerts specific to the itinerary, immediate access to the crisis response centre and an SOS alert button for emergencies. If your itinerary is not yet finalized or at any time you can contact Drum Cussac for more information and advice at or OMAtravelsecurity@drum-cussac.com. You may request a call back if that is more convenient for you. To download the App: 1. Click on the URL: 2. Complete the web based form (see sample below) and click the Capture Itinerary icon. A guide to completing the Itinerary Capture Form can be found at under Other Resources. 3. You will receive a Welcome (see sample below) from Drum Cussac which will contain a link to your uniquely coded WebApp 4. Click the unique link on your device of choice to access the App (see sample below) and save to your home screen or save as a bookmark. You may add the App to all of your devices. 3 Sample WebApp Each time you request a journey, you will receive a Pre-Travel which will contain relevant specific country security information and a link to the WebApp. An example is shown below. 2

5 Upon arrival at the travel destination, the traveller will receive an asking them to confirm their arrival which can be done by clicking on the link contained within the . This will in turn inform the response centre that the traveller has arrived at their destination. If the traveller fails to confirm their arrival within a pre-determined time frame the response centre will contact the traveller to ensure their safe arrival. Should the traveller wish to update their current location, pressing the check in button on the web app will send a notification to the platform and the response centre. More details are contained within the User Guide to be found in the Drum Cussac WebApp Members Area. 2. Overwatch - Response Monitored The purpose of this service provided by Drum Cussac is to provide physicians travelling to Extreme/High risk destinations with an added layer of security information/advice prior to, during and indeed post travel. This service compliments the WebApp. The traveller will also be closely monitored by our 24/7 crisis response centre should assistance be required or a security related emergency arise. In the event that the travellers destination is to one of the below listed countries then the following procedure should be adopted (risk ratings for countries can change so if there is any doubt please contact Drum Cussac crisis response centre at or OMAtravelsecurity@drumcussac.com for current risk rating). 4

This will provide Drum Cussac with sufficient information to enable them to contact you and monitor your travel itinerary during the trip. Within this form there is a URL web link, which allows the traveller to input travel details which will generate instructions, pre travel and to access to the Drum Cussac WebApp. EVACUATION SERVICE In the event that a traveller is required to be evacuated, Drum Cussac provides this service to the insured members and their family in unison with ACE INA Insurance. Should a traveller feel threatened or in danger, they should contact the crisis response centre immediately to seek guidance and advice. The traveller will be given assistance and instructions of any evacuation plan. The information provided on the Overwatch form pre-travel becomes extremely useful should this event occur so please take the time to answer any questions fully. Security Evacuation Insurance Coverage ACE INA Insurance will pay up to $100,000 per insured member per trip outside of Canada for any security related incident which happens during travel, subject to a $1 million maximum per event, where there are multiple insured members. Coverage begins at the actual start of a trip from an insured member's place of employment, home, or other location. Coverage terminates upon the insured member s return to place of employment or home, whichever is the first to occur. Summary of Benefits In the event of hostile or dangerous conditions while an insured member is on a Trip Outside of Canada such that an emergency situation exists, ACE INA Insurance will, through its assistance 5

7 provider, Drum Cussac, use its best-efforts to attempt to arrange for the evacuation of an insured member to the nearest safe and acceptable location. ACE Life will pay benefit for expenses for such evacuation up to a maximum of $100,000 per Trip Outside of Canada per insured member. All expenses are approved at the sole discretion of ACE INA Insurance or its assistance provider, Drum Cussac. Evacuation services will be provided from an international airport designated by Drum Cussac security personnel. Evacuation decisions will be made by Drum Cussac security personnel, in consultation with interested governments, security analysts, ACE INA Insurance and/or the policyholder. Drum Cussac will use its best efforts to make maximum use of scheduled airlines. However, Drum Cussac may, in its sole discretion, utilize other available resources to accomplish the evacuation including private aircraft, ground and/or sea transportation, in which event the point of departure may vary. In the event that evacuation becomes impractical due to hostile or dangerous conditions, Drum Cussac will use resources at its disposal to maintain contact with an insured member until evacuation becomes practical or the emergency due to hostile or dangerous conditions has ended. Drum Cussac will use its best efforts to make such arrangements available for a minimum of five (5) days but may, due to hostile or dangerous conditions be unable to do so. Air Travel Exclusion: With respect to air travel, the insurance afforded shall apply to loss caused by or resulting from travel or flight in any aircraft, or any other device for aerial navigation, including boarding or alighting therefrom, except: a) while being used for any test or experimental purpose; or b) while the insured member is operating, learning to operate or serving as an insured member of the crew thereof; or c) while being operated by or for or under the direction of any military authority, other than transport type aircraft operated by the Canadian Armed Forces Air Transport Command or the similar air transport service of any other country; or d) any such aircraft or device which is owned or leased by or on behalf of the policyholder or any subsidiary or affiliate of such policyholder, or by an insured member or any insured member of his/her household; or e) while being used for fire fighting, pipeline inspection, power line inspection, aerial photography or exploration. Accidental Death & Dismemberment Principal Sum Amount of Coverage is $10,000 Provides coverage for all active members under the age of 80, while travelling outside Canada. Summary of Benefits Enhanced Loss Schedule; Loss and loss of use benefits, including 2 times the principal sum for paralysis. 6

8 Repatriation up to $15,000: to return insured members body when injury results in death 150km or more from home. Rehabilitation up to $15,000: special training for an insured when their injuries result in a need to change occupations. Family Transportation up to $15,000: to bring a family member to insured when confined in hospital 150km or more from home. Spousal Occupational Training up to $15,000: for a spouse to gain active employment when injury results in death of an insured. Home Alteration & Vehicle Modification: 10% of Principal Sum to a maximum of $50,000: making the necessary modifications to an insured s home and vehicle when an accident results in paralysis. Seat Belt Benefit - 10% to maximum of $25,000: increases the principal sum amount, if an insured member s accident occurs in a vehicle while wearing a seat belt. Day Care Benefit - 5%/$5,000/4 years: helping to pay for day care costs for the young children left behind when an accident results in the death of an insured. Special Education Benefit - 5%/$5,000/4 years: helping to pay post-secondary school costs for older children when an accident results in the death of an insured. In-Hospital Confinement Monthly Income: providing some income to help an insured with unforeseen expenses when an accident results in hospital confinement. Identification Benefit up to $15,000: travel costs associated when a family member is required to identify an insured s body when an accident results in death more than 150 km from home. Bereavement Benefit up to a maximum of $1,000: providing family members with grief counselling support to help see them through the difficult times following a death as a result of an accident. The following benefits are also covered for those inconveniences that can occur while travelling: Trip Cancellation - $1,000 Trip Interruption Benefit - $1,000 Trip Delay Benefit - $1,000 Lost Baggage Benefit - $1,000 Personal Property Benefit - $1,000 Lost/Stolen Passport Benefit - $500 Seat Bumping Benefit - $400 7

9 Frequently Asked Questions about Overwatch The Overwatch solution is designed to be user friendly. However should you have any questions please or call the Response Centre at Will the WebApp work on my phone? As long as your phone is a smartphone (iphone, Android, BlackBerry, etc.) and can connect to the internet it will work. I am due to travel to a country not listed as high risk or extreme but I would like to make use of the Overwatch service in addition to the WebApp, can I use it? Although the Overwatch program was intended for the higher risk areas, you can request the service by following the same process. All members are encouraged to contact the Response Center for advice Will I encounter data roaming charges if I utilize the service? Yes as you are accessing the internet but there are ways to mitigate this. Consider using a local SIM Card but remember to inform the Response Center of any revised contact number. Utilize free Wi-Fi at the hotel or airport. If you have signed up for the Overwatch Program then it is the Response Center that will be calling you. What happens when I press the SOS icon? Once pressed the SOS button will send an instant report to the crisis response centre and geo-locates (places a marker) the user on mapping that is viewed by the response centre. A number of and SMS alerts are automatically sent out to the response centre and anyone else nominated. An immediate response is that the user is contacted. If no contact then there are procedures in place to locate the individual by whatever means possible including local law enforcement or Drum Cussac s own in-country network. Occasionally the SOS is pressed in error but the same process will apply until it is confirmed that the SOS was false. The App will continue to broadcast the SOS and therefore position of the user until it is physically cancelled by the response centre What if I want routine travel advice during my trip or I have any concerns about my personal safety? All members are encouraged to contact the response centre, no matter how trivial you may think your question or concern is. The response centre will offer any advice necessary at put your mind at rest. 8
