SOURCES: The 33 contractor statistics in this slide show were compiled from two sources: The Equipment World 2014 Connectivity Study and the AED EDA Dealer Marketing Report 2014. The purpose of The Equipment World 2014 Connectivity Study was to gather information on how Equipment World readers use current technologies both both personally and professionally. Invitations were mailed and emailed to 5,000 Equipment World subscribers with an incentive to complete and return the survey. A total of 313 completed surveys were returned and included in the report, which was published November 2013. 24,000 subscribers of Equipment World magazine with known email addresses were invited to complete the AED EDA Dealer Marketing Report 2014 to measure what types of dealer communications are received and preferred by equipment end-users. Respondents were provided with an opportunity to enter a raffle for an ipad Air. By the cut-off date of Mar. 7, 2014, 73 individuals responded to the survey, a response rate of.003%.
