Providing Choice in Debt Solutions What we do? MLC Mortgage Solutions Lending Managers, along with your Financial Adviser, assess your debt needs in line with your goals and objectives. A range of suitable lending products is then identified from a panel of lenders and the most appropriate product is recommended to meet your specific needs. The Lending Manager will guide you through all stages of the lending application process keeping you and your adviser informed along the way. MLC Mortgage Solutions addresses your needs, by providing: An easy-to-access point of contact for you during the loan application process Agreed service/feedback standards A choice of lending providers and lending products Assessment of your loan to determine if it is right for your needs Assistance to ensure your loan is competitive, aligned to your needs and supportive of your adviser s strategies Assistance with strategies to own your home faster. Product options A key part of our offering is to provide you with access to best of breed lending products and providers. Choice is important and MLC Mortgage Solutions offers an unbiased panel of lenders including all the major brands. Lending Managers role Your Lending Manager will manage the following in conjunction with your Financial Adviser to suite your specific circumstances and requirements: Assess your short, medium and long term debt needs; Help you identify a loan that will meet your debt needs: Fixed or variable interest rate Line of Credit, Mortgage offset arrangement, Principle and Interest Review and identify a range of lending products from our panel of lenders which will help you meet your debt needs Keep you informed and regularly updated about the progress of your application Providing Choice in Debt Solutions Page 01

The loan application process Throughout all of the stages of the application process, your MLC Mortgage Solutions Lending Manager will assist and guide you. 1. Application submitted 2. Approval (subject to meeting credit criteria) 3. Documentation 4. Settlement Ongoing assistance Once the loan is settled, the Lender will provide you with ongoing assistance for the lending product you have selected and contact details will be provided. As your circumstances and needs change your Lending Manager will review your mortgage strategy in conjunction with your Financial Adviser in line with your broader financial plan. If you wish to discuss a new or increased loan to help you meet your debt-related goals and objectives, you should contact your adviser who will let us know. Compliance MLC Mortgage Solutions and its team of Lending Managers operate in accordance with industry regulations and standards. Comparison rate schedules about lending products discussed by your Lending Manager are available if you wish. If you ask MLC Mortgage Solutions to assist you to apply for a lending product, the comparison rate schedule for that lender s product will be provided to you when you apply for the product. The team of Lending Managers have regular training to keep informed about legislative requirements. Fees and charges MLC Mortgage Solutions is a subsidiary of National Australia Bank. Commission is received by MLC Mortgage Solutions after settlement of the loan from the Lending Provider. Individual Lending Managers do not receive commission from lenders. Lending Managers are paid the same by Lending Managers, no matter what lending provider or product you choose. In addition to their salary, they may also receive a bonus if volume sales targets are met but this is not determined by the referral of any particular lending product. The commission received by MLC Mortgage Solutions will be disclosed to you by your Lending Manager when you apply for a loan. MLC Mortgage Solutions may provide referral commission to business partners who refer clients to them, being a proportion of what is received from your lender.
