All information contained within the system is confidential and only available to the originating airlines, SIT A as its agent and the U.S. DOT. Any comments the U.S. DOT wish to make for internal use are stored as confidential to only authorized U.S. DOT users of the system. It is planned that SITA will hold 2 years of data, which will be directly accessible online (i.e. directly via the system) and 8 years of historical archived data. Archived data is accessed by a user request (via the system) that will return the requested data in minutes or hours depending on system load at the time of the request.
