8. Place a check next to the credit cards you wish to accept on your checkout page in the Select Credit Cards section. 9. Enter your Merchant Username 10. Enter and confirm your Merchant Password 11. Note: Specific instructions for setting up Authorize.net, PayFlowPro, Website Payments Pro, and Chase Paymentech are listed following the Card Processing definitions 2010 ShopVisible, LLC v.20100720 Credit Card Processing Settings 3

Card Processing The ShopVisible Site Manager provides five options for Credit Card Processing: Capture Funds at Checkout Manually Process Cards Authorize Only at Checkout Authorize and Void at Checkout Auth/Void Fixed Amount, Capture Actual Capture Funds at Checkout Most clients opt to Capture Funds at Checkout. This option will immediately authorize then capture funds upon placement of order. This is an ideal setting if you have products on hand and ship orders within 48 to 72-hours of order placement. Manually Process Cards If you do not have a payment solution integrated with the platform, you will select Manually Process Cards. Manually processing cards does not authorize nor capture funds upon checkout. This means that you may open yourself up to fraudulent orders that require additional research since the system is not verifying the card, address, or CVV code. Note: When this option is selected, you will need to manually Process Payment and enter an authorization code at the order level. Authorize Only at Checkout For clients who do not have stock on-hand and have an integrated online payment solution, you will select Authorize Only at Checkout. This option authorizes the order total on the customer s account upon checkout, but does not capture funds. Authorization verifies that the total amount of the order from the customer s account is available and allows you to capture funds at a later date against that authorization. Authorization places a hold on this total to allow you to capture the funds against the prior authorization. Note: When this option is selected, you will need to manually Process Payment at the order level or on the QuickShip screen upon shipping the order. 2010 ShopVisible, LLC v.20100720 Credit Card Processing Settings 4

Authorize and Void at Checkout Authorize and Void at Checkout offers a similar functionality as Authorize Only at Checkout. The primary difference between the two functions is that Authorize and Void at Checkout will immediately void the authorization and hold amount from account the customer s credit card account. Depending on the bank, debit cards may retain authorization amount holds for up to 72-hours. Note: When this option is selected, you will need to manually Process Payment at the order level or on the QuickShip screen upon shipping the order. Auth/Void Fixed Amount, Capture Actual Similar to Authorize and Void at Checkout, Auth/Void Fixed Amount, Capture Actual authorizes a fixed amount set and determined by you at checkout. It then captures the actual order total after voiding the pre-determined authorization amount. This setting allows you to verify that a customer has enough funds on the credit or debit card for ongoing subscriptions or future purchases, but then releases the hold on the authorization to capture the actual total for the order. Another use of this function is if customer is paying for a product in installments. The total amount of the order might be $350, but the customer is only paying in $50 installments. You may authorize and void for a set value of $350, but only capture the initial order total of $50. Note: This option captures the funds upon checkout and requires no additional manual processing. FraudLogic may be used with any of these credit card processing settings. FraudLogic is managed through the Commerce tab (Commerce Orders FraudLogic). Credit Card Processor ShopVisible is integrated with a number of credit card gateway providers. Each gateway has a unique set-up associated with it.
