If you are planning on studying a postgraduate course outside the UK, please contact us on 0300 555 0505 for an application form. Those taking a full-time Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture leading to exemption from RIBA part II exams, should apply online at www.saas.gov.uk Do not fill in this form unless the course you plan to do is an eligible course. You must give us a valid National Insurance number, if you have one. The final closing date is 31 March 2016 for courses in Scotland and 30 June 2015 for courses outwith Scotland. You may be able to apply for extra support if you have a disability or learning difficulty. The Scottish Ministers give discretionary funds to Scottish publicly-funded institutions for students with financial difficulties. Your institution is responsible for deciding who gets help and how much; you should apply straight to them. If you cannot get support or any other funding to help pay for the course, you may be able to apply for a Professional Career Development Loan (PCDL). The Government manages PCDLs through a partnership with a number of high-street banks. They can support courses in a wide range of vocational areas that generally last for no more than two years. For more information phone 0800 100 900. If you withdraw from your course you may not be eligible to receive a loan to pay your tuition fees from us. Please let us know immediately if you decide to withdraw. Section I Declaration and undertaking (all students must sign this) If you are applying for the tuition-fee loan and/or the living-cost loan, you must sign this declaration. Student Declaration This loan is made by the Scottish Ministers under the Education (Scotland) Act 1980, its regulations and any amendments to them. As far as I know, the information I have given on this form is complete and accurate. I will tell the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) immediately if my circumstances change in any way that might affect this application for support. I agree to repay any amounts that are lent to me, together with interest and any penalties and charges that apply, in line with the relevant legislation as amended from time to time.
