The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department's training curriculum addresses the circumstances which occurred in the incident. This incident was investigated by representatives from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department's West Hollywood Station and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Internal Affairs Bureau. Their investigation was presented to the members of the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department's Executive Farce Review Committee.
