Federal Tuition Assistance www.goarmyed.com Benefits $250/semester hour up to $4,500/fiscal year 130 semester credits or Bachelor's degree whichever comes first 39 semester hours towards Master's degree (once you have a Master's degree, you are no longer eligible for FTA)

Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP) This enlistment incentive benefits qualified Soldiers by repaying up to $50,000 of qualifying Federal guaranteed student loans Payment amount is 15% or $500.00 per year up to $7500.00 The Soldier must have a current Student loan in good standing to be eligible for the benefit Repayment does not happen automatically Those eligible must take an active role in initiating Loan Repayment documents and ensuring loans remain in forbearance while being repaid by the government A yearly request from the Soldier is required to their lender to provide the NEARNG Education staff with an updates
