INTRODUCTION During the past years Danish Design has been through radical changes. We are no longer only lead by the golden age of the 50 s and 60 s, but highly influenced by international market trends. We have arrived in a new era, where past, present and future unite. Wegner, Jacobsen and Mogensen remain our foundation for functionalism, while a new generation of designers shape what Danish Design will be known for tomorrow. Talents such as Holmback/Nordentoft, Welling/ Ludvik and Bykato have created their own DNA, by using new shapes, materials and techniques. United Icons is a celebration of new and classic Danish Design, from thirteen Danish producers, ranging from small independent furniture makers to large established manufacturers. They all come from different backgrounds and have their own stories. Today we are telling a story together. We proudly present the United Icons 2015 lookbook. Enjoy!
