Mississippi Security Police Application Requirements and Qualifications Warning This application is a legal and binding document. If false statements are made during this process you could be committing a crime that provides fines of $10,000.00 and up to 5 years in prison. The clients MSP serves require certifications which must be verified and processed with this application. MSP will assist in the prosecution of any employee who knowingly provides false information during the hiring process. Minimum Qualifications Must be a US citizen Must have a high school diploma or GED Must be able to read, write and speak and understand English fluently Must have a valid driver s license and social security card Must have reliable transportation to and from work assignments. Work assignments may have irregular times of day and night, weekends, and holidays. These include, but are not limited to: Climbing flights of stairs Sitting in place for long periods of time Standing in place for long periods of time Extensive walking around jobsite, even in inclement weather The ability to defend yourself and others, if required In addition, employees of MSP may be required to work various jobsites throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast requiring additional training and the ability to secure such licensing as required by the state for that jobsite.
