Intelligent software to maximize application performance and data center efficiency SanDisk DAS Cache SanDisk DAS Cache software is a server-based caching solution for direct attached storage (DAS) using server-attached SSDs. SanDisk DAS Cache software works with the wide range of solid state storage devices attached via SATA, SAS or PCIe interfaces, and is available with Dell 13G PowerEdge servers. This software supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Microsoft Windows Server and caches reads as well as writes, while ensuring data integrity via write-back caching technology. This solution can enable substantial performance increases for workloads such as OLTP, OLAP, HPC and Business Analytics. FlashSoft and ioturbine Software FlashSoft and ioturbine software from SanDisk enable data center operators to deploy solid-state storage directly into servers, to improve application performance and storage efficiency without changes to server and storage infrastructure. The software puts low-latency flash storage at the data center s performance tier, optimizing application performance by alleviating storage I/O latency. The software runs transparently in the enterprise applications and storage infrastructure, automatically allocating server-based flash memory for applications most critical I/O operations. Thus, removing storage bottlenecks from the data center, and delivering maximum value from existing storage and server investments. ioturbine software is available for virtualized workloads and any storage system, whether SAN or NFS-based.
