You will be contacted within a few days with your results. If you scored 70% or above, you will receive $10.00 off your enrollment fee. A UNIQUE BOOK - The sixty-six books of the Bible were written by some forty men from six countries, over a period of sixteen hundred years. These men were separated by time, distance, culture, and language, and yet, the Bible is characterized by unity and harmony. Would this be true of any other book written under similar circumstances? Why is it true of the Bible? The only reasonable explanation is to accept what the Bible claims for itself? Scripture Reading: 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. In 2 Timothy 3:16 the Bible is inspired by BUT, WHY DID GOD CAUSE THE BIBLE TO BE WRITTEN? Let s look at some of the reasons: TO REVEAL GOD - The universe bears witness to the existence of a Supreme Being who designed it and created it. The Bible reveals: His identity, His nature, and His will for man. TO GUIDE US - Over and over again history has demonstrated man s inability to guide himself morally and spiritually. Confusion, chaos, and misery have always followed his attempts to do so. We need an authoritative standard: We need God s wisdom to direct us! Scripture Reading: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. Is the Bible a complete and adequate guidebook? Do we need additional revelation? 2475 Creel Road, College Park, GA 30349 Office: 770-996-3497 Fax: 678.289.9482 Email: registrar@nationalbibleinstitute.com TO ANSWER LIFE S GREATEST QUESTIONS! WHERE DID I COME FROM? Scripture Reading: Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

NBI'S FREE QUIZ: "BIBLE: Basic Information Before Leaving Earth" WHY AM I HERE? Scripture Reading: Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man s all. The most important thing in life is to fear And keep His WHERE AM I GOING? Scripture Reading: Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it. What happens to man s spirit at death Scripture Reading: John 5:28-29 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth-those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. Will both the good and the evil be raised?* Scripture Reading: Matthew 25:31-33, 34, 41, 46 The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you the foundation of the world. Then He will also say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. When Christ returns, he will sit on His throne and people from all Will be gathered before Him He will put some on His And others on the What will He say to those on the right What will He say to those on the left

NBI'S FREE QUIZ: "BIBLE: Basic Information Before Leaving Earth" After facing Christ in the judgment, we will go away into eternal Or eternal TO REVEAL SIN AND ITS CONSEQUENCES We sin in thought, in word, in deed, and by failing to do things we should do. The average person sins many times daily. If we committed an average of only three sins per day, in a year we would have the guilt of more than a thousand sins upon us. Think of the sins committed in a lifetime. SCRIPTURE READING : Romans 1:18, "God s Wrath on Unrighteousness", 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. Isaiah 59:1-2,"Separated from God",59 Behold, the LORd's hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. 2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. The Bible reveals that God is perfect, holy, and sinless. It is impossible for Him to allow man with the guilt of sin upon him to live in His presence and have fellowship with Him. Man's separation from God because of sin is the underlying cause of all the problems and sorrows in the world. The entire human race is searching for peace within, but it cannot be found out of fellowship with God. Guilty sinners will be separated from God in eternity as well as in this life. Because God loves us, he wants to forgive us and receive us back into this fellowship, but his holiness and justice demand that the penalty for our sins be paid. Sin is so terrible and so offensive to God that all man's efforts to pay its penalty are insufficient. It is impossible for us to earn forgiveness. HUMAN WISDOM EDUCATION MORALITY KEEPING THE 10 COMMANDMENTS DOING GOOD DEEDS

NBI'S FREE QUIZ: "BIBLE: Basic Information Before Leaving Earth" IS THERE NO HOPE FOR US? IS THERE ANY WAY OUT OF THE SIN DILEMMA? TO REVEAL GOD'S ANSWER TO THE SIN PROBLEM SCRIPTURE READING : Romans 5:6-10 "Christ in Our Place" 6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Are we able to solve the sin problem ourselves? (verse 6) How did God demonstrate his love for us? (verse 8) Can we be justified (made free from sin s guilt) by Christ? (verse 9) Is a guilty sinner an enemy of God? (verse 10) As sinners we can be reconciled to God (made God s friends) through (verse 10)? Since Christ was sinless, God accepted His death on the cross as payment for the penalty for our sins. This makes it possible for God to forgive us and yet maintain His holiness and justice. HOW CAN WE RECEIVE FORGIVENESS THROUGH THE DEATH OF CHRIST? SCRIPTURE READING: Romans 5:1"Faith Triumphs in Trouble" 1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ We are justified (made free from sin's guilt) by SCRIPTURE READING : James 2:19 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble! John 12:42-43 Walk in the Light 42 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; 43 for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Hebrews 5:8-9 8 though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. 9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. Acts 2:37-38 37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" 38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the

NBI'S FREE QUIZ: "BIBLE: Basic Information Before Leaving Earth" gift of the Holy Spirit. Romans 10:9-10 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Acts 17:30-31 30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead." Mark 16:15-16 15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Romans 6:3-4 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Acts 8:35-39 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?" 37 Then Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." 38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. 39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. WHAT IS SAVING FAITH? IS IT... Just believing in the one true God? James 2:19* Just believing the facts about Jesus? John 12:42-43 Christ saves those who have enough faith in him to? (Hebrews 5:8-9) Acts 2:37-38 points out that there is something we must do Romans 10:9-10 In addition to believing in Jesus, must we also confess Him in order to be saved? Does God require us to repent? Acts 17:30-31 (This means that one must make a decision to turn from sin and serve God.) Mark 16:15-16 Jesus promises to save us after we are baptized.*

NBI'S FREE QUIZ: "BIBLE: Basic Information Before Leaving Earth" Romans 6:3-4 Is one in Christ (in union with Him) before he is baptized?* Baptism is a burial.* Acts 8:35-39 Baptism involved going down into the water and coming up out of the water. This is because in being baptized, a person is buried in water.* Have you been baptized (buried, immersed in water)?* If yes, was it in your understanding at the time that one is saved "after" baptism?* Read Acts 19:1-7 and Romans 6:17. Can one be taught false teachings, believe false teachings, and then be baptized according to God's True Word? WHAT RELIGION OR CHURCH SHOULD A PERSON BELONG TO AFTER BEING SAVED? SCRIPTURE READING : Matthew 16:18 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Ephesians 1:22-23 22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. 1 Corinthians 12:27 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. Ephesians 4:4-6 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Matthew 16:18 How many churches did Jesus promise to build? Ephesians 1:22-23 Jesus church is also called His? 1 Corinthians 12:27 Christians are members of Christ s body, His church* Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, just as there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God. Since the one body is the church, how many churches does Jesus have?* When person believes in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, repents, confesses his faith in Jesus, and is baptized, his sins are forgiven, and Jesus recognizes him as a member of his spiritual body, his

NBI'S FREE QUIZ: "BIBLE: Basic Information Before Leaving Earth" church. Every religion, denomination, and church on earth other than Jesus church, His body, was originated by man. They all teach man-made doctrines which are not in harmony with God s word, the Bible. THE VOICE OF GOD -VS- THE VOICE OF HISTORY SCRIPTURE READING: Matthew 15:9 9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew 7:21-23 I Never Knew You. 21 "Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? 23 And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! Matthew 28:18-20 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. 1 John 5:13 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life,[a] and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. Revelation 2:10 10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. Matthew 15:9 Those who read the commandments of men as religious doctrines worship God in vain. Matthew 7:21-2 Many religious people who call Jesus Lord will hear Him say, Depart from me some day. In order to go to heaven, we must do the will of? God s will is revealed in? Rather than embracing some man-made religion, it should be our desire to follow Christ as members of His body, His church.* Matthew 28:18-20 After being baptized, we are expected to continue learning and doing what Christ commands us?
