See MSN degree requirements in this handbook for a complete description of this program. Occupational Health (COH) Contemporary Gerontological Practice COH Occupational Health This certificate is available in Industrial Hygiene. This program is for students who desire to augment their existing education and training via academic courses. See MSOH degree requirements for a complete description of this program. The Graduate in Contemporary Gerontological Practice is designed to provide basic knowledge about contemporary issues in gerontology and geriatrics and prepare individuals for working with older adults and their families in the current healthcare environment. By delivering the courses mainly online, the certificate program provides access to high quality education and graduate courses in gerontology to enhance the knowledge and professional practice of many providers and students who may not be able to attend traditional classes. Curriculum The curriculum consists of five, three credit courses. The curriculum incorporates the biological, psychological and sociological perspectives into each course. Contemporary practice issues also are explored throughout the curriculum. The courses in the curriculum are as follows: 206
