How to use this guide The Sophos Training and Certification Program gives our partners the tools and knowledge to successfully sell, demo, deploy, support and service Sophos products. We have divided the training into five levels: 1. Sales Consultant (Sell) 2. Engineer (Demo) 3. Architect (Deploy) 4. Support Engineer (Support) 5. MSP (Service) Each level of training is split into different product courses, based on our own product range: Endpoint SafeGuard Encryption UTM/Network Email Web Sophos Cloud Courses include training modules and assessments to help trainees understand this product to the level required for certification. To avoid the need for repetition, there are prerequisites in place that must be met prior to starting the next level of training. For example, in order to begin the UTM Architect Course, trainees must first the UTM Engineer Course. This guide will provide you with an overview of the courses and modules that are available for each level of training, as well as highlight the amount of time we expect trainees to take to each level. Throughout the guide, it s clearly marked where prerequisites are needed. Some courses require trainees to pass two assessments. Recertification Program STAY UP TO DATE Objective: Retain the latest knowledge and expertise on Sophos Products. Benefits: Keep up to date with the latest features and functionalities of a product without having to revisit the full course. Requirements: Complete each relevant Delta Training Module to keep certifications current. Keeping your Sophos product knowledge up to date On completion of a product course, partners are certified on a stated major version of that product. Each time a new version of the training is released (in line with product releases) Delta Training Modules will also be released. Delta modules can be found in each respective Engineer and Architect product course. These modules contain an overview of the new features and functionalities of the current version in comparison to the previous version. Partners will not lose their certification. However, they should note that in order to retain their partner level within the Sophos Partner Program, they will need to show that they have a current level of knowledge on the products. This can be done by ensuring that Delta Modules and associated Knowledge Checks are d. Prior to a Channel Audit in each region, partners will be told which version will count towards their partner level, and given six months to all the relevant training.
