24/7 Health Advice Line Medibank nurses are there to assist members and their families 24/7 with any health question. Our nurses can help with any health issue from: - an attack of food poisoning - to a question about a pregnancy, - child s health - an enquiry about medication - or a diagnosed health condition. If a member rings us with a health problem that the nurse believes should be seen by a doctor promptly we ll offer to ring their regular GP and help them make an appointment. Our nurses can help find services like medical centres, dentists, mental health services, child health services, pharmacies and more. Members can access the 24/7 Health Advice Line by calling 1800 Mi Health (1800 644 325).

Hospital Support Hospital Support helps smooth the way so our members can focus on getting better sooner#. Before hospital Hospital Support will grow to include, for most members, a call from one of our customer service team to answer any questions about their cover^. During hospital Our Hospital Liaison Representatives will help members get the most out of their cover during the hospital stay. They ll answer questions about entitlements as a private patient, medical benefits covered, claiming procedures, out-of-pocket expenses and more. And, if a member is in hospital to have a baby, they ll help with any questions about providing cover for their new baby, adding them to their membership or reviewing the membership to make sure it s still right for their needs. After hospital Hospital Support will grow to include a call from a Medibank nurse for most members after returning home to help with accessing resources & assist with managing the recovery process^. #Hospital Support is available for overnight stays in participating Members Choice Hospitals.
