God Made Me. I m a special person. God made me different from anyone else. No one else is exactly like me. No one acts just like me. No one thinks just like me. I am one of a kind. God made me for a special reason. He made me for His pleasure. It makes Him happy when I praise Him. I am wonderfully made. God made me special, and He wants me to thank Him. 2

Job 33:4a The Spirit of God hath made me. Psalm 139:14a I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 100:3a Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves. 3

God Sees Me. God is so great that He can see me all the time. There is no place I can hide where God cannot see me. He sees when I do what s right and when I do what s wrong. God sees when I m hurt and when I m lost and when I m scared. God sees everything. God sees right into me. He knows when I m angry with someone. And He knows when others hurt my feelings. He sees it all. God sees me inside and out. 4

Genesis 16:13... Thou God seest me... Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding* the evil and the good. *Beholding means looking at or seeing. 1 Samuel 16:7b For the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. 5

God Knows Me. God knows more about me than I know about myself. He knows everything that has ever happened to me. God knows everything that will ever happen. He knows my name, my age, my address even the number of hairs on my head. God knows what I think and what I say. He knows every time I ve ever been sad or afraid. And He cares for me. God knows everything. Best of all, God knows me. 6

Psalm 139:1-2 O LORD, Thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou understandest my thought afar off. Psalm 139:4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, Thou knowest it altogether. 7

God Loves Me. God loves me more than anyone else does. He knows everything I do even when I disobey Him. And He loves me still. His love for me is so great that it cannot be measured. God loves me so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to save me from my sin. Jesus died on the cross, so that I could live forever with Him. That s how much He loves me! 8

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,* but have everlasting life. *Perish means to be punished and separated from God. 1 John 4:19 We love Him, because He first loved us. 1 John 3:1a Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God. 9

God Cares for Me. God protects me. He keeps me safe from harm. He also provides what I need. God gives me a place to live, clothes to wear and food to eat. Jesus said that the Lord even cares for little sparrows. He said I am worth far more than many sparrows to Him. Even when something bad happens, I know that God cares for me. He promises to give me what I need, and I can believe Him. 10

Hebrews 13:6a So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper. 1 Peter 5:7 Casting* all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. *Casting means throwing. Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 11

God Calls Me. God doesn t call my name out loud for everyone to hear. But He does talk to me. I can read what He says in the Bible. He wants me to listen to Him. God calls me, because He wants me to know Him. By reading the Bible I learn about Him. He tells me what He s like. When I pray, I talk to Him, too. And He promises to listen. 12

Isaiah 55:3a Incline your ear,* and come unto Me: hear, and your soul shall live. *Incline your ear means listen carefully. Mark 10:14b Suffer* the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. *Suffer means let. Matthew 11:28 Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 13

Jesus Died for Me. The Lord Jesus was good and kind, but people didn t love Him. They did not believe He was really God, so they were cruel to Him. They beat Him and spit in His face. Then they hung Him up on a cross to die. But the good news is that Jesus knew He would die. It was God s plan. He died on purpose to pay the price for my sin. If I trust in Him, Jesus will wash away all my sin. 14

1 Corinthians 15:3... Christ died for our sins... 1 Thessalonians 5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 15

Jesus Rose for Me. After the Lord Jesus died on the cross, some friends wrapped His body and placed it in a tomb. But Jesus didn t stay dead. He had promised the disciples that He would rise from the dead after three days. And that s just what He did! Jesus rose from the dead for me. Now He s alive forever in heaven. If I trust Him as my Savior, I will go there to be with Him someday. 16

Matthew 28:6a He is not here: for He is risen, as He said. Revelation 1:18a I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore. Romans 4:25 Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification. 17

Jesus Lives in Heaven. The Lord Jesus is in heaven now. He sits right next to God the Father. And he promised that He would prepare a place for me there. Because I love Him, I can live in heaven too. Jesus died and rose again for me. Now He s in heaven, but He sent the Holy Spirit to live here in me until I go to heaven. 18

John 14:2 In My Father s house are many mansions:* if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. *A mansion is a beautiful house. John 14:19b Because I live, ye shall live also. 1 John 2:1b And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 19

Jesus Will Come for Me. Jesus promised that He would come back again. The Bible says that Jesus will come in the clouds, and He will take everyone who believes in Him to heaven. When we get to heaven, our bodies will be new. I won t ever be sick or hurt. No one will ever die again. Heaven is a beautiful place. The streets are made of gold. There will be many homes there more beautiful than anything we can imagine. 20

John 14:3b I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Revelation 22:20b Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Hebrews 10:37 For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 21

Jesus Is My Savior. Jesus loves me. He cares for me and protects me. He died for my sin and wants to be my Savior. But I must believe He paid the penalty for all my sin. If I trust Him, He promised to be my Savior. I can talk to Him right now, Lord Jesus, I need to be saved. Forgive me for sinning against You. Thank You for dying on the cross for me. I trust You to be my Savior today and forever. Thank you for giving me eternal life. Amen. 22

Acts 16:31... Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved... 1 John 4:14b The Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. 23

Jesus Is My Shepherd. Jesus said He is like a shepherd. If I trust in Him, I am one of His sheep. He will take care of me. He will protect me and give me everything I need. He gave His own life to save me. Even though I will sometimes be afraid, He is with me. He will never leave me. My Shepherd keeps me safe. 24

Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth His life for the sheep. Isaiah 40:11 He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom... 25

Jesus Is My Guide. The Lord Jesus wants to lead me. He has a plan for my life, and I need to follow Him. He knows the best way for me to go. Jesus will lead me safely through even the tough times. The Bible is like a map. It shows me how to follow Jesus. If I read the map and listen to my guide, the Lord Jesus, I will stay on the right path. 26

Psalm 23:3b He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name s sake. Psalm 48:14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death. Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. 27

Jesus Is My Captain. Following Jesus is not always easy. Sin, self and the devil are enemies that want to keep me from doing what is right. Jesus will lead me. He is my captain. He has given me special armor to wear. My shield is faith. My sword is the Bible. Memorizing verses is part of learning to use the sword. Fighting is hard sometimes, but my captain has given me all I need. 28

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles* of the devil. *Wiles means tricks. 2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure* hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. *Endure means stand up to something. 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 29

Jesus Is My Lord. The word Lord means someone who is powerful. The Bible says Jesus is Lord of Lords. He is more powerful than anyone or anything. Jesus has always been God. Even when He was born as a little baby, He was still the Lord. The Bible tells us that everyone will someday bow down before Jesus and say that He is Lord. I can say it now by choosing to follow Him. 30

John 13:13 Ye call Me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. Acts 9:6... Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?... Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 31

God s Only Way to Heaven AM I A SINNER? Sin is something in me (bad thoughts, lying, stealing, disobedience, pride, cheating, etc.). God hates sin. We can t hide it from Him. Sin leads to eternal separation from God in hell. Gods Word says:... all have sinned... Romans 3:23 For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23a WHAT SHALL I DO ABOUT MY SIN? Can I give God something nice to make Him forget it? How about going to Sunday school, church or Awana; or praying; or getting baptized; or other good deeds? NO! God says: Not by [good works] which we have done. Titus 3:5a 32 GOD HAS DONE EVERYTHING. God gave His Son to be my Savior. God put Jesus on a cross to die for my sin in my place. But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 IT HAPPENED AT THE CROSS. Jesus paid for all my sin by dying, shedding His blood and then rising from the grave and going back to heaven. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. 1 Peter 3:18a

GOD ASKS ME TO BELIEVE (trust) HIM TO TAKE AWAY MY SIN. Believing is trusting what God did for me. When I believe that His death was for me, He gives me eternal life. Will you believe (trust) now that Jesus died in your place? Will you accept Him as your Savior? If you have, tell Him what you have done. As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. John 1:12b I KNOW THIS GIFT IS MINE... I want to thank Him for it now. God says:... I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish... John 10:28 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
