RCIA Celebrating Christian Initiation THE INITIATION EXPERIENCE: BEGINNINGS AND BEYOND Track I - Beginnings... The goal of the Beginnings and Beyond Institute is to present the vision of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and teach the shills necessary for participants to implement the initiation process in their own communities. From Late Sunday afternoon to early Friday afternoon, participants experience the flow, steps, and periods of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Track II - and Beyond... For experienced ministers with a firm foundation and training in the process of initiation preparation, this track traces the initiation process with attention to advanced questions of implementation. Participants in this track need a minimum of three years initiation experience, preferably in a setting that has a year-round initiation process. Cosponsored by the Diocese of Albany at Siena College, Loudonville, NY June 20-25, 1999. Deadline for registration was May 9, however, you can still register by calling the Forum Office at (202)529-9493.

Environment & Art FORM/Reform: The National Conference on Environment and Art for Catholic Worship October 23-26 Sheraton Colorado Springs Hotel Theme: On This Mountain: Raising a Banner of Hope Goals of the Conference To address the issues related to the building, renovation, or restoration of a worship space in light of current church documents. To foster the local community s search for solutions to its particular problems and challenges that its space presents. To foster collaboration among artist, architects, and local and diocesan committees. To provide a forum for education and discussion of current issues in an age of transition. FORM/Reform: Is the national conference for all who are involved in a church building or renovation project: diocesan building and liturgical commission members, clergy, architects, environment art coordinators, musicians, artisans/craftspeople, builders, acoustical and lighting engineers, landscape architects, students, and anyone else seeking further knowledge and enrichment in the forum of environment and art.
