Wunelli Ltd Terms of Device Installation, device and data usage And Privacy Policy: Installation: It is a condition of your insurance Policy that you have a fully operational Black box installed in the Insured Vehicle. The Black box will be fitted by our approved engineers who are fully trained and insured to appropriate industry standards. It is your responsibility to obtain permission from any other party who has an interest in the ownership of the Insured Vehicle (e.g. a hire purchase or leasing company) for the Black box to be installed. A Black box must be fitted within 28 days of the policy commencement date, and within 28 days of any subsequent change of vehicle under the policy. If a Black box is not fitted during this period your insurer may cancel the policy in accordance with the Policy s cancellation conditions. If you do not attend your installation appointment, or you cancel the appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you may be charged a Missed Appointment fee via your insurer (please refer to your insurer terms or business agreement). At the time of installing the Black box, our approved engineer must be provided with the documentation specified by your insurer. These generally include your full V5 or section 10c, the policy holders and all named drivers counterpart and photo card licenses, your No Claims Discount proof and a signed copy of this agreement. If you do not provide this documentation and the engineer is unable to install the box, you may be charged a fee via your insurer as specified in your insurers Terms of Business. Our engineers will only install the Black box at a location deemed safe to do so by the engineer. The Engineer may request you move your vehicle to a more suitable location should one be available. Failure to position the insured vehicle in a safe place to install location my result in the engineer terminating the installation. This may result in a missed appointment fee being charged via your insurer (please refer to your insurers Terms of Business). Interruptions to the collection of data: The collection and transmission of data by the Black box and the provision of the Theft Tracking facility may occasionally be impaired or interrupted by operational and/or atmospheric conditions, power failures, or other causes, conditions or events beyond our reasonable control or the capabilities of the Black box. We will rectify any interruptions to the transmission of the data where it is possible for us to do so. Wunelli Ltd, any subsidiary or third party subcontractor cannot be held liable for any losses incurred as a result of a device or service failure. If we suspect that the device is faulty we will contact you to repair or (at our option) replace the Black box free of charge. If, during the period that your policy is in force, you suspect that the Black box is defective for any reason you must notify your insurer as soon as possible, who will be able to arrange with us to correct the fault. If we cannot repair the Black box remotely we, or our approved engineers, will contact you to agree a time and location to repair (or replace) the Black box. If you do not attend the appointment, or you cancel the appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you may be charged a Missed Appointment fee via your insurer as specified in your insurers Terms of Business.

We will not repair (or replace) any item which is part of the Insured Vehicle and which is used to enable the operation of the Black box and/or in conjunction with it (e.g. the vehicle battery) as such items are your responsibility to maintain in good working order. The Black box uses the battery power supply and so there may be a small drain on your battery even when the vehicle is not being used. Removal or replacement of the Black box: If the policy is cancelled (or the Insured Vehicle is replaced) we will cease to collect data for insurance purposes, we will continue to collect your data for a period of three months to allow for the purchase of continued Theft Tracking services which may be offered to you following your policy cancellation or change of vehicle. (See the Black box Data section below). You must not attempt to remove or deactivate the Black box. We will not be responsible for any damage to the Insured Vehicle caused by any attempt to remove or deactivate the Black box by you or anyone acting on your behalf. We can arrange for the removal of the Black box on request, subject to a fee of 90. We reserve the right to replace the Black box at our option and expense at any time with any other Black box providing you with at least the same functionality. This will enable us to ensure the Black box is updated if there are technological changes or improvements. We will only exercise this right: (i) (ii) when replacing a defective Black box or (ii) by providing you with at least 21 days notice of our intentions prior to your policy renewal date and only then if the Black box is over three years old. In the event of loss of or damage to the Black box as a result of an insured incident, your insurer will pay for the repair or, at our option, the replacement of the Black box, subject to the terms and conditions of your Policy Tampering with the Black box: The Black box is the property of Wunelli LTD. You, or any person acting on your behalf, must not tamper with, dismantle, or attempt to remove any part of the Black box or tamper with the GPS/GSM signal that is emitted from the Black box. Whilst you are a policyholder, no one other than Wunelli LTD. And/or our approved engineers may install, remove, modify or repair the Black box. The Black box has tamper controls and attack safeguards which will trigger the intelligent alert system in the event of any unauthorised tampering with the Black box. An investigation will be initiated and a physical inspection of the Black box by an approved engineer will be required if the intelligent alert system is triggered. If you do not attend the appointment to inspect the Black box (or you cancel the appointment with less than 24 hours notice) you may be charged a Missed Appointment fee. If you do not attend a subsequent inspection appointment your policy may be cancelled). Tampering with the Black box may invalidate your insurance resulting in Policy cancellation. You may then struggle to find insurance as the policy will have been cancelled by your insurer. If following an investigation you, or anyone acting on your behalf, is found to have tampered with the Black box your policy may be cancelled) and you will be required to pay for any reasonable costs we have incurred including removing, repairing or replacing the defective Black box or parts thereof.

Any damage or loss caused by any form of tampering or non-permitted interaction with the Black box is not covered by this insurance policy. Theft Tracking The Black box has GPS/GSM tracking functionality. If the Insured Vehicle is stolen you must activate the tracking facility as follows: (i) (ii) (iii) report the theft to the Police and obtain a Police Incident number ring our Secure Operating Centre log on to your dashboard to obtain the number (lines open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week) and confirm the Police Incident Number. Contact your insurer s claims helpline to report the claim. If the Police recover the vehicle they may take it to a secure compound for further investigation and you may be required to pay Police recovery and storage charges. Please obtain a receipt for any such payments and submit as part of your claim.
