It is an Australian accredited Masters Qualification Qn2: What are the steps to getting an MBA Ans: It is a three step process for 12 Units 1. Graduate Certificate in Management when you complete specific 4 Units(401,201,101,102) 2. Graduate Diploma in Management when you complete specific 8 Units(Above +403,305,430,202) 3. Masters in Business Administration when you complete 12 Units Qn3: How long does it take? Ans: It takes 6 weeks per Unit. To complete 12 Units, it will take you 18 months of study. Qn4: When can I start and finish MBA? Ans: The earliest Start is Jan2014 The earliest you will finish is by August 2015 and Graduate in Dec 2015. Qn5: When can I join? Is it only in January? Ans: You can join at the start of any 6 week unit, 7 times in the year as per the calendar. You don t necessarily have to start in January. Start when you are ready. Qn6: How much does it cost? Ans: Registration costs K5000. Thereafter for every unit you take, you pay K3000 per unit. Qn7: Are there any discounts? Ans: IBBM Members get 15% discount. If you pay the full 12 units in 1 payment, you get 15% discount. Qn8: Is there any fee help? Ans: Yes, you can apply for a loan at Nationwide Micro- bank. Qn9: Am I Eligible to apply for MBA? Ans: Yes, if you are: 1. A University Graduate Direct Entry 2. IBBM Diploma Holder 3. Any other Diploma or Advanced Diploma holder subject to Chifley approval. 4. As an independent learner (without any qualifications, subject to Chifley approval start with 2 units first) 5. As a professional Learner (without any qualifications, subject to Chifley approval start with2 units first 6. For Non English speaking countries- TOEFL score of 577 (or a score of 233 in the computer- based TOEFL) or IELTS score of 6.5 or Letter from the institute stating the course was delivered in English. 7. Ans: Yes, Upto 2 Units Exempt. 1. For Diploma in Banking (done in last 3 years) you will get credit for Unit 101- Financial Management 2. For Diploma in Business/Management (done in last 3 years) you will get credit for Unit 302- Employer Based Unit. Qn14: Can I leave the course in between? Ans: Yes, you can complete the required 4 Units and obtain Graduate Certificate and leave. or you can complete the required 8 Units and obtain Graduate Diploma and leave. Qn15: Will my fees be refunded if I leave? Ans: Yes, your course fees will be refunded if you choose to leave upto 8 days after to the start of the unit. (The Monday after the start of the unit is the final day to withdraw and receive a refund). The Registration fees will not be refunded. Qn16: How will the course be delivered? Ans: The course will be delivered by a mix of online, 3 x workshops,1 x assignment, 1 x exam. Week0- Monday Last date of enrollment application. Week0- Monday Chifley send approved candidates list. Ans: If a student final grade falls into the 45-49% bracket they are able to appeal their result, but there is no automatic re- sit function.
