5 BMO EXCHANGE TRADED FUNDS For more information on BMO ETFs please contact Client Services at 1-800-361-1392 or visit bmo.com/etfs. 230 05/11-904 Portfolio yield is calculated as the most recent income received by the ETF in the form of dividends, interest and other income annualized based on the payment frequency, divided by the current market value of the ETF s investments. Yield to Maturity includes the coupon payments and any capital gain or loss that the investor will realize by holding the bonds to maturity. Duration is a measure of sensitivity of bond prices to changes in interest rates. For example, a 5 year duration means the bond will decrease in value by 5% if interest rates rise 1% and increase in value by 5% if interest rates fall 1%. Generally, the higher the duration the more volatile the bond s price will be when interest rates change. The portfolio yield, yield to maturity, and duration of each ETF is as of May 31, 2011 and is reported gross of management fees, withholding taxes and other expenses.
