Both chronic conditions Very related most T2 DM are overweight/obese Together symbolize the Metabolic Syndrome T2 DM is a non-insulin dependent diabetes, characterized by insulin resistance/deficiency and hyperglycemia that clearly responds to Wt loss, healthy eating and exercise 23
