How do I deposit money? -Use Direct Deposit for your payroll or government checks; this gives you instant access to your funds without having to visit a branch. Most employers and most government agencies offer this free service. If your employer does offer Direct Deposit, great! What is the Monthly Qualification Cycle? -Beginning the first day of the calendar month and ending the last business day of the calendar month. 12. Will I get credit for my debit card purchase transactions on the same day I make my purchases? -No. Debit card purchase transactions must POST and CLEAR during the Monthly Qualification Cycle (see above) to count toward qualifications requirements. When you use your debit card, the merchant places a memo hold on your account in the amount of your purchase.* Transactions may take one or more business days from the transaction date to post to an account from the date the transaction is made. It will not actually POST until the business processes their transactions. Thus, the posting of your POS (Point of Sale) transactions are controlled by the business and not Peoples Bank of Kankakee County. While most of our customers meet their debit card requirements early in the Qualification Cycle, for those who use their Debit cards less, we suggest that you try to make all 2

12 required debit card purchase transactions by the 25 th of the month to give time for the business to process the transactions so they can POST and CLEAR your account prior to the end of the Monthly Qualification Cycle. Transactions that are memo posted and not yet posted to your account will be shown with asterisk (*) indicating this is a pending transaction. *Some merchants, such as gas stations, car rental retailers, or hotels may actually place a hold on your account for an amount larger than your actual purchase. 13. If I miss my qualifications by only one debit transaction, can I call in and get my interest and ATM refunds anyway? -No. However there are no service charges and you will still earn 0.10% APY*. 14. Can the Rate/APY change on my Possibilities CHECKING account? -Yes, all Rates/APYs on Possibilities CHECKING may change at Peoples Bank of Kankakee County s discretion. 15. Is Possibilities CHECKING insured? -Yes. Possibilities CHECKING is fully backed up to the FDIC insurance maximum. 16. Is there a minimum balance to maintain or to earn rewards? -No! That is one of the many great benefits of Possibilities CHECKING. 17. Will I be reimbursed for my Possibilities CHECKING account ATM transaction fees after each withdrawal or at the end of the month? - If you have met your qualifications for the specified qualification cycle, we will reimburse you for domestic ATM fees up to $25 per qualification cycle. ATM fee reimbursements will be credited to your account on the last day of your statement cycle. ATM fees of $4.99 or less will be reimbursed when qualifications are met. ATM fees of $5.00 and higher will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $5.00 per individual transaction if the appropriate ATM receipt is presented to a representative at one of our branches. If you believe that you have not been reimbursed the correct amount, please contact us. We must hear from you no later than 30 days after the statement cycle when the reimbursement was applicable. Note: ATM withdrawals do not count as qualifying debit card transactions for purposes of earning rewards within this account. 18. Are fees refunded on ATMs used internationally? -No, nationwide (domestic) only. 19. If my account balance goes negative, will I still be able to qualify for my rewards during that Monthly Qualification cycle? -Yes, as long as the monthly qualifications are met. 20. What if my new debit card does not arrive until late in the cycle and I do not have time to earn my first month s rewards? 3

You will receive your rewards for the first Monthly Statement Cycle that you have the account even if you do not meet the qualifications. 21. Does online billpay count towards an ACH debit or credit? -No, online billpay does not count toward an ACH debit or credit. 22. If I use my debit card at an ATM, will that transaction count towards my qualifications? -No. Only POS (point-of-sale) transactions count. 23. Can I open multiple Possibilities CHECKING accounts? -This offer is limited to one account per customer. 24. Can this be used as a business account? -No, it must be used for personal use. 25. Is overdraft protection available for Possibilities CHECKING accounts? -Yes. Our Overdraft Reserve (sm) overdraft protection service is made available to you after your account is open 30 days, if your account is in good standing. You may wish to Opt In to have this overdraft service also cover your ATM and onetime debit card transactions. Can I open a Possibilities SAVER account without opening a Possibilities CHECKING account? -No. You need Possibilities CHECKING to have Possibilities SAVER because they work together. Possibilities SAVER is automatically fed by the high interest earned and ATM fee refunds from your Possibilities CHECKING to help you save more and save often. 2. Do I earn interest on both the Possibilities CHECKING account and Possibilities SAVER account? -Yes! And the interest earned on your Possibilities CHECKING account is automatically deposited into your Possibilities SAVER account each month. Plus, even if you don t meet the monthly qualifications one month you still get a base interest rate on both accounts. 3. Are there qualifications for Possibilities SAVER AND Possibilities CHECKING? -To receive the higher level of interest on BOTH accounts you just do the simple qualifications each Monthly Qualification Cycle on your Possibilities CHECKING account: Have at least 12 debit card purchases post and clear to your Possibilities CHECKING account per monthly qualification cycle. How will I know how much interest I have earned each month in my Possibilities SAVER account? -Log into your online banking and retrieve your free estatement or review transaction history to view interest earned. Do I get checks for my Saver account? -No, Possibilities SAVER cannot be accessed by check. 6. Do I get a debit card for my Possibilities Saver account? -You get a debit card for your Possibilities CHECKING account that you use to meet your monthly requirements. You can also use this card to withdraw money or transfer money in your Possibilities SAVER account at ATMs nationwide. 7. Can I have multiple checking accounts that fuel my Possibilities SAVER? -Possibilities SAVER is only associated with your Possibilities CHECKING account. 8. TRUTH-IN-SAVINGS DISCLOSURE POSSIBILITIES CHECKING If the POSSIBILITIES Checking qualifications are not met for the Monthly Qualification Cycle, the interest rate on your account and corresponding Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is described in the chart below. This interest rate will be the base rate. MONTHLY QUALIFICATION CYCLE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS To qualify for POSSIBILITIES Checking rates for the Monthly Qualification Cycle you must: Have at least 12 debit card purchases post and clear during the monthly qualification cycle. Have at least one Automatic Payment or Direct Deposit post and clear during the monthly qualification cycle. Receive estatements Monthly Statement cycle begins on the second business day of the month and ends on the first business day of the following month. Monthly Qualification cycle means a period beginning one business day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one business day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. If monthly requirements are not met, we will pay not less than the base rate on your account. The daily collected method is utilized to determine which rate will be applied. Your interest rate and APY* may change at any time. 8

Interest begins to accrue no later than when we receive credit on noncash items (for example, checks). Interest is compounded monthly. Interest will be credited to your account on the last day of each statement cycle. If you close your account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest. We use the daily collected balance method to calculate the interest in your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. No minimum balance required to earn rewards. However, you must deposit $100.00 to open this account. The following fees may be imposed on this account: Maintenance Fee... None Fee for check/ach return (insufficient funds - per check/ach)... $25.00 Stop payment fee... $20.00 Check printing...fee depends on checks ordered Minimum to open account is $100.00. *Annual Percentage Yield (APY) accurate as of June 4, 2012. POSSIBILITIES Checking Rate tiers are as follows: 2.01% APY applies to balances of $0.01 $15,000.00 and balances over $15,000.00 earn 0.25% interest rate on portion of balance over $15,000.00 resulting in 2.01% 0.48% APY depending on the balance if qualifications are met each monthly qualification cycle. 0.10% APY applies to all balances if monthly qualifications are not met. All balances will earn 2.01% APY 0.25% APY if monthly qualifications are met for monthly qualification cycle. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) disclosed on the POSSIBILITIES Checking account assumes that interest earned in POSSIBILITIES Checking compounds. However, by choosing to have POSSIBILITIES Saver linked to POSSIBILITIES Checking, you understand that the interest earned in your POSSIBILITIES Checking account is automatically transferred into your POSSIBILITIES Saver account at the end of the statement cycle and therefore does not remain in your POSSIBILITIES Checking account and does not compound. Additionally, you understand that the interest amount earned in the POSSIBILITIES Saver account may be less than the interest amount earned in the POSSIBILITIES Checking account. Rates may change at any time, including after your account is opened. Fees may reduce earnings. No minimum balance required to earn rewards. Qualifying transactions must post and clear the account during the monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more business days from the transaction date to post to an account from the date the transaction is made. Have at least one Automatic Payment or Direct Deposit post and clear your Possibilities Checking account during the monthly qualification cycle. Receive estatements for your Possibilities Checking and Possibilities Saver accounts. Monthly Statement cycle begins on the second business day of the month and ends on the first business day of the following month. Monthly Qualification cycle means a period beginning one business day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one business day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. If monthly requirements are not met in your POSSIBILITIES Checking for the Monthly Qualification Cycle, we will pay not less than the base rate on your account. The daily collected method is utilized to determine which rate will be applied. Your interest rate and APY* may change at any time, including after your account is opened. Interest begins to accrue no later than when we receive credit on noncash items (for example, checks). Interest is compounded monthly. Interest will be credited to your account on the last day of each statement cycle. If you close your account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest. We use the daily collected balance method to calculate the interest in your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. 11

Withdrawals and Payments The number of withdrawals or transfers from a POSSIBILITIES Saver you make in-person, by mail or at an ATM, or transfers for the purpose of repaying Peoples Bank of Kankakee County loans and associated expenses are unlimited. During your statement cycle, you may also make up to six transfers, withdrawals or payments in aggregate to another account with Peoples Bank of Kankakee County or to a third party if made by: pre-authorized transfers or withdrawals, telephone banking service (including telephone, fax, VRU), Peoples Bank of Kankakee County Internet Banking, automatic transfers, check or draft, or at point of sale terminals using your ATM or debit card; with no transfer by check, draft, debit card, or similar order to third parties. Excess withdrawals may result in account being closed. These transactions are considered made on the date the Bank pays out the funds, not the date the withdrawal request was initiated. POSSIBILITIES Checking Rate tiers are as follows: 2.01% APY applies to balances of $0.01 $15,000.00 and balances over $15,000.00 earn 0.25% interest rate on portion of balance over $15,000.00 resulting in 2.01% 0.48% APY depending on the balance if qualifications are met each monthly qualification cycle. 0.10% APY applies to all balances if monthly qualifications are not met. All balances will earn 2.01% APY 0.25% APY if monthly qualifications are met for monthly qualification cycle. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) disclosed on the POSSIBILITIES Checking account assumes that interest earned in POSSIBILITIES Checking compounds. However, by choosing to have POSSIBILITIES Saver linked to POSSIBILITIES Checking, you understand that the interest earned in your POSSIBILITIES Checking account is automatically transferred into your POSSIBILITIES Saver account at the end of the statement cycle and therefore does not remain in your POSSIBILITIES Checking account and does not compound. Additionally, you understand that the interest amount earned in the POSSIBILITIES Saver account may be less than the interest amount earned in the POSSIBILITIES Checking account. Qualifying transactions must post and clear the POSSIBILITIES Checking account during the monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more business days from the transaction date to post to an account from the date the transaction is made. Intra bank transfers do not count as qualifying ACH transactions. No minimum balance required to earn rewards. **If you have met your qualifications for the specified qualification cycle, we will reimburse you for domestic ATM fees (for POSSIBILITIES Checking account only) up to $25 per qualification cycle. ATM fee reimbursements will be credited to your account on the last day of your statement cycle. ATM fees of $4.99 or less will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $4.99 per individual transaction.
