Syllabus in Christian Living Education 4 First Quarter Grade Level Standard Content Standard Performance Standard The learners are led to know Jesus and his saving work more intimately and they gain more faith in Jesus; establish personal relationship with Jesus and strive to follow Jesus in their day-to-day life. The learners demonstrate understanding of: Prayer as means of communicating with God; learn the Basic Prayers in communicating with God and making their own prayer; Sacrament of Baptism that led them to share in Christ s mission as a prophet, a priests, and a king: the outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation that will enable them to encouraged and strengthened their desire to fulfill the responsibilities as Christians and members of God s family.
