Table of Contents Introduction Prerequisites for the ACSP Exam Format Scheduling and Paying for an Exam Recommended Training Courses Recommended Reading List of Topics Sample Questions 2 4 6 Introduction The Aruba Certified Solutions Professional (ACSP) exam tests candidates on their ability to understand WLAN solutions to common RF challenges and best practices in WLAN design for mobile devices. Candidates will be tested on knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards and amendments, enterprise security, mobile device roaming, WLAN performance and optimization for BYOD, and Spectrum Analysis. 2

Prerequisites for the ACSP There is no certification prerequisite for taking the ACSP exam. It is recommended that the candidate have at least one year hands on experience designing and deploying WLAN solutions in an enterprise environment. Attending the official ACSP training from Aruba Networks is the best way to prepare for the ACSP certification exam as the course will cover all topics on the exam. It is also recommended that the candidate have a broad understanding of WLAN and general network technologies. Exam Format The candidate will have 90 minutes to complete the 75 multiple choice exam questions. Scheduling and Paying for an Exam To schedule an ACSP exam please, please visit http://pearsonvue.com/aruba/ The cost is $125 USD. Students who attend ACSP class receive a voucher for one Aruba Pearson Vue exam. Recommended Training Courses While not required, it is highly recommended that candidates attend the Solutions Training Track provided by Aruba Networks prior to attempting the ACSP exam. The ideal candidate will have at least one year hands on experience designing and deploying WLAN solutions in an enterprise environment. Recommended Reading The following reading material is highly recommended: Aruba Mobility Controller Validated Reference Design (version 8) Aruba 802.11n Networks Validated Reference Design (version 8) Aruba Campus Wireless Networks Validated Reference Design (version 8) High-Density Wireless Networks for Auditoriums Validated Reference Design Aruba Mobility Controllers and Deployments Models Validated Reference Design Network Rightsizing Best Practices Guide Indoor Access Points: Site Survey and Planning http://www.arubanetworks.com/technology/design_guides.php
