RN-CODER will provide your organization with experienced coders and health information professionals available to complete all of your projects, either on-site or remotely. All coders are AACCA certified with a minimum of three to five years of coding experience. The RN-Coder Network handles all coder arrangements from beginning to end, so you can focus on getting your projects done. Whatever your medical coding needs, The RN- Coder Network has the answer. Our certified coders are also Registered Nurses, however, they do not cost more they recover more! THE RN-CODER NETWORK offers: On-site medical coding support Remote coding services Auditing and monitoring services Education and training HIM departmental outsourcing solutions On-Site Medical Coding Support Services Hospitals and medical facilities are constantly faced with unpredictable staffing shortages that impact their revenue process. RN-Coder offers on-site medical coding support services tested to meet the demands of private sector and government facilities in a timely manner. Our remote medical coding program provides your health system with dedicated scan technicians who will scan the medical records you provide and make them electronically available to a medical coder. Our program allows us to scan and code any type of medical record including inpatient discharges, observation services, emergency department services, outpatient/ancillary services and same day surgery. If necessary, we do the scanning, not your department. We can offer you savings of 20% or more off the rates of travel medical coders. Regardless of whether the coding will be done by the medical facility internal coding staff or RN-Coder s remote coding services, the scanned documents will be available for coding within moments of scan completion.

The RN-Coder Difference For remote inpatient coding, which will be completed by RN-Coder coders, your medical facility can expect discharges to be coded within 48 hours of being scanned. Our aggressive quality assurance program provides a 95% coding accuracy. RN-Coder will audit 3% of all charts coded by RN-Coder. The results will be shared with the liaison for the medical facility health system. RN-Coder is an experienced provider of both remote and on-site coding services. Our Remote Coding services will include the following deliverables: Efficient and cost-effective remote coding services, eliminating costly travel expenses Hardware for scanning: Fujitsu scanner and IBM ThinkPad laptop Qualified scan technicians to scan Emergency Department and Outpatient Surgery Encounters, as well as Inpatient Discharges Quality assurance plan ensuring a 95% DRG accuracy for inpatient discharges coded by RN-Coder coders Inpatient discharges coded within 48 hours after record is scanned Initial training and support for medical facility coder(s) on use of digital imaging software Certified and qualified remote coding professionals Expert and professional management team Our qualified medical coding staff will apply ICD-9-CM coding conventions, official ICD-9-CM Coding Guidelines, CMS regulations and policies and DRG optimization techniques, as well as reference the AHA's Coding Clinic. Medical Facility Health System Deliverables Remote access to encoder for entering all codes Work area for scan technician including a 5x2 desk/table High-Speed internet access for scan technician Staff to collect, assemble and analyze medical records for scanning, ensuring as complete a record as possible

Ensure approximately 60-80 medical records are available for scanning each day Designate a point of contact to serve as liaison between the medical facility health system and RN- Coder staff Medical Coding Auditing & Monitoring Services The RN-Coder Network appreciates the role that accurate medical coding and auditing programs play in ensuring quality data and improving revenue. RN-Coder's medical coding auditing and monitoring services are designed to identify and clarify existing weaknesses within the current medical record documentation and coding processes, validate the quality of the coding, and establish a standard for documentation and coding accuracy. Our medical coding auditing services can be provided on-site or in a remote environment. Our Auditing Services provide the added value of efficient and cost-effective services, while eliminating costly travel expenses. RN-Coder will supply the required scanning hardware and the scan technician(s) at no additional cost to your facility. Our auditing and monitoring services include: Retrospective or Concurrent audits Focus on both Physician and facility Inpatient facility including CMS DRG and APR-DRG Outpatient facility including APC, OP Surgery, ER Physician E&M Services Physician All specialties Physician Inpatient or Outpatient professional services State required audits including HSCRC APR-DRG Audits (Maryland) No auditing job is too small or too large for the RN-Coder Network. Our auditing program is customized to meet your needs and expectations. At a minimum, the following are included:
