Short Title and commencement I Schedules 1967, No. 154 An Act to amend Act 1927 [24 November 1967 BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1. Short Title and commencement-(1) This Act may be cited as the Police Act 1967, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Act 1927 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act). (2) This Act shall come into force on the first day of January, nineteen hundred and sixty-eight. 2. Review of penalties-( 1) The principal Act (as amended by section 7 (1) of the DeCImal Currency Act 1964) is hereby amended in the manner indicated in the First Schedule to this Act. (2) The enactments specified in the Second Schedule to this Act (as amended by section 7 (1) of the Decimal Currency Act 1964) are hereby amended in the manner indicated in that Schedule.
