Flexirent offers an extensive range of products from leading brands, including computer technology, audio visual products, electrical equipment, home ware appliances, as well as trade tools and machinery. How do I rent with Flexi? Flexirent offers pre-approval for rental finance before you order. Flexirent staff are available 7 days a week, and a phone call is all it takes to complete your credit application, which typically takes around ten minutes. Or, you can Apply Online. All we require is some personal information and employment details to run a quick credit check to properly assess your financial circumstance. How much is it to Flexirent? Flexirent payments are made monthly. The amount of this payment is determined by the invoice amount of the equipment and the term chosen. With Flexirent you can choose which day of the month you wish to have your rental payments debited from your nominated bank or credit card account. You can also take the equipment home with you straight away and nominate a future payment date. We ll just pro-rata the payment between the date of delivery and your chosen payment date. Can I choose my payment date? With Flexi you can choose which day of the month you wish to have your rental payments debited from your nominated bank or credit card account. Once equipment is received and you wish to choose a future payment date, no worries, we ll just pro-rata the payment between the date of delivery and your chosen payment date.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW AS A FLEXIRENT CUSTOMER? Who is responsible if the equipment breaks down? In most cases Flexirent customers will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of their rented equipment. We strongly recommended that all equipment be covered for the full lease term by an extended warranty that exceeds the manufacturer s warranty. Ask your supplier for more details. If equipment does break down during the manufacturer s warranty period, call the manufacturer or your supplier. Remember that as a Flexirent customer we offer the security of Equipment Loaner services. Equipment Loaner Program If your rented equipment requires repairs, you are entitled to free loan computer equipment for up to 6 weeks when the rented equipment has an invoice value of $500 or above. Flexirent will dispatch equipment to you within 1 business day from the time of your request to an Australian metro area, if your request is made during business hours and stock is available. Loaner equipment is available for rented computer equipment only. Simply call Flexirent on 1800 000 665 and we will make the arrangements. Courier delivery and collection with be at Flexi s cost. See Terms and Conditions for full details. Who is responsible if the equipment is lost, stolen or accidentally damaged? Flexirent takes responsibility for accidental loss or damage to the leased equipment anywhere in Australia and New Zealand. If loss or damage occurs anywhere in the world during a trip of not more than 28 days duration, Flexirent will also shoulder the responsibility. Exclusions are set out in Clause 27 of the Terms and Conditions. Under Flexi Protect, Flexirent also waives your payment obligations in the event of involuntary unemployment, disablement, terminal illness or death. Do not leave equipment unattended in a public place or an unoccupied car as your liability may increase if you fail to ensure that equipment is kept safe and secure. See clause 27 of the Terms and Conditions for full details. How do I report an incident? Call Flexirent on 1800 000 655 and ask for an Incident Notification Form. Our customer service team will help you through the process. Does it cost me anything to report an incident? There is a processing charge of $110 for rented equipment with an invoice value of up to $1000 and a $220 processing charge for rented equipment with an invoice value over $1001. The processing fee is only charged on approved incidents.
How do I change my payments details? Go to myflexi to update your payment details or call 1800 240 102 to speak to one of our customer service representatives. What is the fee for missing a payment? If you miss a payment, you ll still enjoy the use of the equipment however a $25 Payment Default fee will be added to your next lease payment. All fees and charges throughout your rental term are outlined on your Rental Agreement. If you experience difficulty in maintaining your rental commitments, just call our friendly customer service team on 1800 647 461 who will be more than happy to help you through your options. Are there any fees for deferring a payment? Flexirent is happy to accommodate changes to your payment date during your selected lease term. One payment date change throughout your term can be made at no cost. If you require more than one payment date change during the term, a $25 administration fee is charged for each subsequent payment date change.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW AT THE END OF MY AGREEMENT? What happens at the end of my rental agreement? Once you come to the end of your rental agreement with Flexi, there are a number of options available to you: Double Time: Extend the term of your computer Rental Agreement by paying the Extend Optional Payment (equivalent to one monthly rental payment). If you choose this option you don t have to pay any further rental payments during the Double Time period^. Own the Equipment: Make Flexirent an offer to purchase all or some of the leased equipment which we may accept or reject^. Update and Swap: Update and Swap to new equipment before the end of the Agreement and we will waive between 3-6 of the remaining payments. Update and Double Time: Update to new computer equipment and extend (double) the term of your Rental Agreement by paying the Extend Optional Payment^. FlexiKeep: Pay an optional payment equivalent to one monthly rental payment and keep the rental equipment forever ^. Return Equipment: Return the equipment to us at the end of your Agreement with no more to pay. See clause 15 of the Terms and Conditions for full details^. If no end of term option is elected at the end of the agreed term, the Rental Agreement will defer to a month-to-month arrangement. Monthly rental payments will continue as set out on the signature page, until the equipment is either returned or an end of term option elected. How do I upgrade the performance of the equipment? If you want to modify the equipment to improve its performance, you must receive our written consent. Do I own equipment at the end of the Agreement? If you would like to own your rental equipment at the end of your agreed term, you can make Flexi an offer to purchase the equipment. Flexi is not obliged to accept your offer, however if we do, our obligations under the Protect and Equipment Loaner program will cease. Can I pay out my Agreement early? Yes at any time throughout the lease term you can end the Agreement by negotiating a payout with our friendly customer service team.
