Riverside Housing Development Corporation Mission Statement The mission of Riverside Housing Development Corporation is to revitalize neighborhoods throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties by improving the quantity, quality, and condition of affordable housing opportunities available for low income households.

Autumn Ridge Apts. - Rehabilitation Multi-phase project totaling 79 affordable rental units. Reduction in density and creation of open space. Solar energy provides affordable utilities to low income residents.
Autumn Ridge Apartments Distressed neighborhood was plagued with crime, graffiti, and trash. Autumn Ridge - BEFORE Rehabilitation Many buildings were boarded up and in foreclosure. Rear alley parking areas were a continual source of problems.
New parking areas were constructed.
Autumn Ridge Apartments An 81-kilowatt gridtied photovoltaic solar energy system provides 65% of the electricity used onsite. Autumn Ridge - SOLAR ENERGY Demolition of selected buildings created open space and new parking areas facilitated closing the alleyway.

Neighborhood Stabilization Program Neighborhood Stabilization through purchase, rehab, and resale of foreclosed single family homes and apartments. 3 year program administered by Redevelopment staff.
Rehab Program Owner Occupied The Owner Occupied housing rehab program assists an average of 75 households annually; more than $1 Million of rehab work completed every year. Mobile Homes are also eligible.
