Special Report Thank you for downloading my special report Millionaire Investment Secrets. For the last ten years I ve been teaching investors just like you how to trade and invest in the stock market. In The Wealthy Investor program I teach my students how to earn anywhere from $1,000 to $15,000 per month trading stocks from home. In the media I m often criticized for making trading and investing sound so easy. The truth is once you understand what drives stock prices higher, investing is not difficult. From this point forward your goal will be to learn how to pick stocks that follow predictable patterns. No stock investing system is one hundred percent foolproof, but The Wealthy Investor approach has stood the test of time for my most successful students and me. As a teacher and mentor I m always researching patterns and stock market trends. My desire for a deeper understanding of 4
the financial markets lead me to research how self-made millionaires and billionaires invest their money. Here are the first three things I ve learned: 1) Success always leaves clues. 2) Money travels in packs. 3) Wealth is a series of positive habits. 5
Secret Number One: The Rich Think Differently About Money. So Should You. For those of us who come from working class families, we were taught to work hard for money and hope that ends will meet. By contrast, the rich teach their kids that money should always be working for them. In fact, for the rich, money is viewed as an employee that is expected to produce large returns in up and down markets. I was raised by a single mother who struggled each month just to pay the bills. As my interest grew in all things financial, it became clear that I was going to have to shift my mindset and expectations as they relate to money. If I wanted to achieve financial freedom in five years or less I had to learn how to think like the rich. 6
Secret Number Two: Millionaires Always Manage Risk When it comes to investing in stocks, millionaires start by investing in the tried and true then choose risker stocks. That means they begin investing in members of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. These stocks carry lower risk. The Dow Jones or the Dow is a stock-market index that shows how 30 significant publicly owned companies based in the United States have traded during a standard trading session in the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq. Take a look at the last five-year performance of these three Members of The Dow Jones Industrial Average. Take a look at how your investment would have grown had you invested in one or more of these publically traded companies. At least one of them could have made you rich. 7
VZ Note $1,000 invested in VZ five years ago would now be worth over $1,300. $10,000 invested in VZ five years ago would now be worth over $13,000. $100,000 invested in VZ five years ago would now be worth over $130,000. 8
DIS Note $1,000 invested in DIS five years ago would now be worth over $2,300. $10,000 invested in DIS five years ago would now be worth over $23,000. $100,000 invested in DIS five years ago would now be worth over $230,000. 9
HD Note $1,000 invested in HD five years ago would now be worth over $2,600. $10,000 invested in HD five years ago would now be worth over $26,000. $100,000 invested in HD five years ago would now be worth over $260,000. As you can see, not all Dow Stocks appreciated the same over time. 10
Secret Number Three: Self-Made Millionaires Invested in Stories They Understand When I say understand the story of a stock, I m referring to how a company earns money. In Wall Street terms, a company s earnings are referred to as revenue. Disney earns its revenue from several different sources. They are: 1) Theme Parks 2) Motion Pictures 3) Advertising from ESPN and ABC television network 4) Hotels/ Resorts 5) Merchandising If you are comfortable following movie box office ticket sales and theme park interest fees, Disney might be a company you d considered investing in for the long term. Understanding how publicly traded companies earn revenue is a vital part of being a successful investor. 11
Secret Number Four: Millionaires and Billionaires Love Dividend Paying Stocks A dividend is your share of a company s net profit after all expenses have been paid. As a shareholder of a dividend paying company you ll receive a quarterly check whether stocks raise or fall during a particular quarter. Even if you own one share of stock you ll still receive a check on a quarterly basis. Dividends vary from company to company. They can range from.05 per share to have much as $1.25 per share. 12
Note $1,000 invested in KO five years ago would now be worth over $1,200. $10,000 invested in KO five years ago would now be worth over $12,000. $100,000 invested in KO five years ago would now be worth over $120,000. Coca-Cola also pays a dividend of $1.32 per share annually, which breaks down to $0.33 per quarter. 2,500 shares of KO would earn you $825 every quarter. 13
Secret Number Five: Self-Made Millionaires Understand Allocation If your goal is to grow your money in stock and lower your risk at the same time, you must undemand allocation. The Wealthy Investor approach says that at least one third of your portfolio must be in Dow Stock. $10,000 to invest $1,000 in KO $1,000 in DIS $1,000 in HD The remaining $7,000 can be in risker stock. If you want to take a more conservative approach, your allocation could look like this: $2,000 in KO $2,000 in DIS $2,000 in HD In this version of allocation the remaining $4,000 could be use for investing in up and coming stocks. 14
Understanding how publicly traded companies earn revenue and how to allocate investment dollars is a must for any investor who seeks success. The more money you have, the more conservative your allocation should be. Allocation and Covered Calls Allocation is also important if you are wealth building while selling Covered Calls. Selling Covered Calls allows any investor to generate monthly or weekly residual income from the stock market as long as you own one hundred shares of a given stock. 15
