Some of the Reimbursable Expenditure payments are in terms of Tables as agreed upon from time to time. 1.1 PERCENTAGE-FEE BASED ON THE COST OF THE WORKS (a) (b) In this case the cost of the Works is estimated or calculated in conformity with subsection 3.1 of this Annexure. Provided that where SANRAL considers that the fee on a time and cost basis, or the prescribed tariff, would be inadequate in relation to the services rendered by the Consulting Firm, an appropriate special fee shall be negotiated between the Consulting Firm and SANRAL. If a specific Stage of the Work by the Consulting Firm is undertaken on this basis, the time charges as defined in Annexure 2 will remain fixed for the tenure of that Stage unless postponed in terms of clause B27 of the Agreement. 1.3 RATES OR LUMP SUM Where appropriate to specific assignments and by agreement between SANRAL and the Consulting Firm remuneration will be on: (a) (b) Rates for identifiable tasks and/or Lump sum payments.
