Steri-Warmer UK momma SteriWarmer combines a steriliser with bottle warmer for the very first time. Thanks to a special sensor, SteriWarmer is automatically able to select the function in use (Steriliser or Bottle warmer). Steriliser Function SteriWarmer is an ideal unit to sterilise your momma bottles (up to four 250ml bottles), teats and accessories. It can also be used to sterilise standard bottles. 120ml 1) Place the heating unit on a flat, stable surface and pour in 120ml of water up to the mark indicated. 2) Put the sterilising chamber on the heating unit. 3) Place the neck of the bottles down on the bottom of the sterilization chamber. WARNING! Do not allow any objects to obstruct the flow of steam around the bottom of the sterilisation chamber. 4) Attach the lower tray to the rod. 5) Place the lower assembled tray to the rod inside the sterilisation chamber and place the upturned bottles on it. 6) Attach the upper tray onto the rod and place the lids and teats on it. 2
7) Put on the sterilisation chamber lid and make sure the steam vent is not blocked. 8) Attach the power cord and plug in. Press the start button The sterilisation icon the display. to start sterilisation. will appear on 9) The display will show an 9 minute countdown. When sterilisation ends, the display will start to flash and will emit a sound. 10) When sterilisation ends, wait for the chamber to cool down; it can then be put on the base. 11) For hygiene purposes, pincers are recommended to take out the teats. 12) Pour out the rest of the water from the heating unit and dry it. 3
Bottle warmer Function The SteriWarmer bottle warmer function is able to quickly and easily warms all momma bottles, baby-food jars and a variety of standard bottles. The simple commands and liquid crystal display allow you to choose different programmes, easily and quickly. 120ml 1) Place the heating unit on a flat, stable surface and pour in 120ml of water up to the mark indicated. 2) Place the bottle or baby-food jar in the heating unit and put on the protective screen. The protective screen must not be removed before the bottle warming programme is completed. 3) Attach the power cord, plug in and select the programme of choice. Selecting the programme Use the bottle selection button on the display to choose the type of bottle or jar: = Flat momma bottle or standard bottle = Rocking momma bottle = Jar Use the select temperature button to choose the start temperature: = Milk or baby-food from the fridge. = Milk or baby-food at room temperature. 4
Use the select quantity button to choose the closest amount of milk or baby-food to be heated up; the quantity will be shown on the display in ml. NOTE: it is not too important to match exactly the quantity to the programme. The closest will be ok. NOTE: If jar is select quantity selection is disabled. When the type of bottle, the start temperature and the quantity have been selected, press start to heat. The countdown will start on the display until heated. 4) IMPORTANT! Before use, shake the bottle well so that heat is evenly distributed and check that the temperature of the food is not too hot before feeding the baby (by pouring a few drops of liquid on the inner part of your wrist). 5) Pour out water from the heating unit and dry it. WARNING - Read the instructions carefully before using and keep them for reference. - Before using SteriWarmer for the first time, sterilise it empty for hygiene purposes. - Before sterilising bottles and accessories make sure that they have been carefully washed. There should be no trace of milk or food on objects to be sterilised. - Make sure that the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface during use. - Never turn on SteriWarmer with no water in it. - Do not use sterilisation chemicals. - Unplug from the mains electricity when not in use. - The food should not be heated for too long. - Always carefully check the temperature before giving heated milk or food to the child. - Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. - This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; Farm houses; By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; Bed and breakfast type environments - Do not put the heating unit in water. - All parts except the heating unit can be washed in the dishwasher. - This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 5
Cleaning Limescale build up can impair SteriWarmer's function and, and the long term, can damage the heating unit. Follow one of the following procedures to keep the SteriWarmer perfectly clean and in full working order. Procedure 1 ( White vinegar) 1) Mix 100ml white vinegar with 200ml cold water and pour into the heating unit. 2) Wait until all the limescale is dissolved. 3) Finally, empty the heating unit and carefully rinse and dry. 6
Procedure 2 (Citric Acid) 1) Mix 200ml of water with 10g citric acid and pour into the heating unit. 2) Rest the sterilisation chamber without trays on the heating unit without putting the lid on. 3) Attach the power cord and plug in. Press the start button to start sterilisation. Let it work for 1-2 minutes and press the button again to stop it. 4) Plug out the heating unit and wait for 30 minutes. Then empty the heating unit rinse and dry carefully. WARNING - Read the instructions carefully before using and keep them for reference. Make sure that the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface during cleaning. Keep out of children s reach. Do not put the heating unit in water. Do not use bleach or sterilisation chemicals. Do not use abrasive sponges or antibacterial products. Warning! Citric Acid Avoid contact with the eyes and soft tissue. Never use any other procedure other than that advised for cleaning in order to avoid irreparable damage to the heating unit. 7
